Multiple exposures and camera movement up and down of a group of eucalyptus trees. Made at John Forrest National Park / I love going there as it is close to home and has flowing water and waterfalls in Winter and amazing wildflowers in Spring.
Mixed Media collage. Acrylic paint, vintage newspaper, vintage book paper. This is a scan of an actual painting, not digital art.

Is it flying through space or peering through a macro lens? I can’t really explain what I feel about this one. It kind of creeps me out. But I really really love it, feel a part of it. Please see my Etsy listing for this image – and purchase a pearlescent metallic print of this beautiful photograph!
Photographed in Santa Barbara, California during a smokey morning from a nearby wild fire which created the colors in the water. Canon 1Ds Mark II / f/16 / 1/8 second / ISO 50 / 600 mm focal length

I spent some time at the beautiful Rikugien Park today. This little detail of branches, leaves and bokeh caught my eye soon after arriving at the park. Nikon D300 / Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8 ED IF @ f/2.8

I don’t know the name of this plant. Enlightenment would be much appreciated. I liked the colour and delicacy of it. Canon EOS 450D, 50mm f1.8 lens, +4 closeup filter.

Best View Larger Feature in Live and Let Live group. Taken at Watkins Glen State Park, Watkins Glen, NY on 10/10/2009. I was with Lina Paul and Dj We where there because Dj has a week off before he goes for basic training for the Army Reserves. The park was really crowded and it was difficult to capture the waterfalls without anyone in them. I will catch up with replys and reviews later on today. I am going to the pumpkin farm with the kids. Canon 50D / Sigma 17-70mm lens / Shutter Speed 1.50sec / F-11 / ISO 100 / Tripod

I’m usually not a fan of too many special effects applied to photos… But today I felt like making something “dreamy”. Probably won’t kill me to have one of these in my gallery, heh.
Thought I’d just add this one… it’s part of my Morning Sun calendar 2010..
