  • The Three Sisters amongst the clouds in the Blue Mountains.

  • A waratah in Sydney’s Blue Mountains. On this particular trip there were quite a few in full bloom. Laden with canyoning gear (and my trusty SLR, a tripod and a flash) I managed to snap off a few shots without holding the group up too much.

  • This is a vertical photo of Hanging Rock near Baltzers Lookout Blackheath. Click on the photo and see the larger view on this one! Thanks for visiting! / I really appreciate your comments.

  • Dubbed “The Nearest Wilderness to Sydney”, Yerranderie is a unique and isolated slice of history, nestled in the Blue Mountains. Surrounded by old silver mines, it is accessible by car (weather permitting), 4WD or by air (if you’re lucky ;) ). This photo was taken near Silver Peak mine, with Yerranderie Peak in the background. A modest entrance fee offers visitors access to Yerranderie “private town” and surrounds.

  • Terrace Falls in Lawson N.S.W. Australia Click on the photo and see the larger view on this one! Thanks for visiting! / I really appreciate your comments.

  • A view of one of the 3 sisters in the Blue Mountains Australia. Other Australian images: Amongst the clouds / Snowgums 2 / Sunrise /

  • This is McMahon’s lookout out from Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia. Below is lake Burragorang where Sydney’s water is collected. This is a massive shot and probably won’t fit on your screen…. but would look fabulous across a wall.

  • This shot was taken at the Leura Cascades, Blue Mountains NSW. The photo was shot with a canon eos 350d and 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 II lens. / A polarizing filter was used to help reduce reflections and to reduce the amount of light entering the camera. The lowest ISO setting of 100 was selected to allow for a lengthy enough exposure. The camera was then placed in shutter priority mode (Tv) and a time value of 1.6 seconds was chosen, which set the aperture at f22. The Photo was shot in RAW and contrast, saturation, sharpness and levels were adjusted in Digital Photo Professional.

  • Katoomba falls in the blue mountains national park, west of Sydney, Australia

  • finished painting 1.5m x 1.0m multi layed,mixed media,semi sculptural

  • While walking through this pine forest in the Blue Mountains, a mist swept in. Off in the distance, I could just make out a small hut. Could this give me shelter from the damp cold? Was anyone living there? If so, who – and why? What mysteries were about to unfold -or to remain?

  • Waterfall inthe Valley of the Waters; Blue Mountains; Australia

  • Bkye Mountains Waterfall

  • Waterfall and tree

  • Taken in blue mountains, Hazelbrook, NSW. / BEST VIEWED LARGE

  • Taken at Cataract falls, Hazelbrook, Blue Mountains.

  • Wentworth Falls / Probably the most stunning waterfall in the Blue Mountains. Having two sections falling from the top to a ledge half way down where this photo highlights and then again to the very bottom of the valley, if there was no break, these falls would be the highest waterfall in the Blue Mountains. You can see the top half of the falls from Princess Rock a short walk from the car park, however to really appreciate the Wentworth Falls region you should plan at least a few hours for bushwalking. I recomend it

  • 40d, 18-55, 1.2 ND, tripod and remote release
