I don’t usually do IR shots with people or animals, but this horse was kind enough to stay still for me for 2 seconds. ......................................................................................................... Bored in a stable with nothing to do. / We make a game of throwing our shoes. / Lead me to water, but not to the track. / Show me a saddle and I’ll say, “Hey get off my back.” / All in favor (all in favor) say “Nay!” / We like the flavor of (we like the flavor of) hay. / We’re gonna graze all of our days. / Until they take us away and turn us into glue. / Like Mr. Ed always said… May the horse be with you. May the horse be with you. / May the Horse be with you everyday. / I trot by the fillies (they like me of course). / They all dig my band (yea I’m a rocking horse). / You gotta take off your spurs to ride me you know. / If you want me to stop then yell out “Whoa”. / All in favor (all in favor) say “Nay!” / We like the flavor of (we like the flavor of) ha / .............................. The swallow, bonny birdie, comes sharp twittering o’er the sea, And gladly is her carol heard for the sunny days to be; / She shares not with us wintry glooms, but yet, no faithless thing, / She hunts the summer o’er the earth with wearied little wing. —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—

I’ve always liked this one. I’d gotten up at 4:30am to catch a sunrise, got myself in to place & was patiently waiting for dawn when the thickest blanket of fog I’ve ever seen decended all around me. I was not impressed, until I got above the fog & saw the view : )

An IR shot…...surprise, surprise.. / / Without the wonders of an ir filter this was just an ordinary paddock…green grass, a lone tree and a flowing river.

While my scanner is on the blink I’ve been going through some of my photos taken while in Shanghai, China in 2006 and found a few with potential. I don’t think I’ll upload too many as photography isn’t one of my strong points, but it is fun to see what you can do with an image in photoshop.

This is an infrared shot. It was a very overcast day – not much blue sky about at all so I tried something a little different with this one. / Hope you like it.

I’m sick, you’re tired, let’s dance / Break to love make lust I know it isn’t / I’m sick, you’re tired, let’s dance / Cold as numbers but let’s dance / / As though it were easy for you to lead me / I could be passive gracefully / / Half the horizon’s gone for a skyline of numbers / Half the horizon’s gone, we’re working the numbers / ‘till I’m sick / / Sleep don’t pacify us until / Daybreak sky lights up the grid we live in / Dizzy when we talk so fast / Fields of numbers streaming past / / I wish we were farmers, I wish we knew how / To grow sweet potatoes and milk cows / / I wish we were lovers, but its for the best / / Tonight your ghost will ask my ghost, / Where is the love? / Tonight your ghost will ask my ghost, / Who here is in line for a raise? / Tonight your ghost will ask my ghost, / Where is the love? / Tonight your ghost will ask my ghost, / Who put these bodies between us? / / Calculation Theme – Metric / / / / / ∞
