ICE FORMED FROM WAVES ON LAKE SUPERIOR IN MINNESOTA. I FOUND THIS TO BE JUST A BEAUTIFUL SITE. THE LAKE IS SO LARGE, AND THE WIND WAS SO COLD. THIS WAS NEAR DELUTH, MN. TAKEN WITH A KODAK EASY SHARE CAMERA. NATURES WONDERS ARE ALWAYS BEAUTIFUL, AND AMAZING SITES TO BEHOLD AND CAPTURE.

Location: Aviemore, Scotland This is a compliation of 3 shots of Avimore i took back in 2007. I came accross them the other day and thought they would work well as a panorama. Hope you enjoy. All comments are welcome and thanks for looking :-)
The original is an oil painting done in the impressionist style. In larger versions, this piece seems abstract if you are close to it. Step back, and it all comes together.
I took this shot with a US flag that I own. Set it up on my desk and bounced the flash. I really like the detail in the weave. I gave it a classic Americana feel. I hope you enjoy this image.

This Great Blue Heron was flighting over the lagoon behind my house. This is a small lagoon set among the houses, that he likes to fish at. This is in Oak Forest, IL. Taken with a canon EOS 40D.
The city of Bath has a long history, it’s very name reflects it’s ancient status during the times of Roman occupation. The water at the present site of Bath were already considered sacred by local inhabitants before the Romans arrived. The area has been occupied long since. The Abbey is now an Anglican parish church but was originally a Benedictine monastery. The current appearance, perpendicular Gothic architecture, is owed largely to its last rebuilding in the 16th century. This shot was taken with a fish eye lens as dusk set on the Abbey.

You might expect London’s City Hall to be a medieval building some thousand years old, but in fact, the Greater London Authority resides in this building designed by Norman Foster and opened in 2002 and very much part of the modern millennium. Located on the south bank, steps from Tower Bridge and in sight of the Tower of London on the opposite bank, the lines of this building are truly inspiring. This was taken with a fisheye lens which has exaggerated some of the distance in this photo.
I first visited Avebury on a day trip out of London in 2004. I had never heard of the site, but it was included in a tour to Stonehenge and Salisbury. Ironically, it’s a larger stone complex from the same prehistoric age in Britain. When I saw it was also on the Cornwall itinerary there were no complaints. It’s a gorgeous place and this time was in the afternoon sun in Autumn. Compared to a spring morning, quite a difference. The skies were magic…
