  • I put the car on a piece of plexi-glass for the reflection. in PS i selected the background and lightened it, added a gradient from the bottom of the picture, burned and dodged and here we are.

  • The main stencil image of the carousel was created in late 2007. Inspired by my interest in vintage children’s toys. This is 1 of 3 images of this stencil that I have available on Red Bubble, the other is ‘Carousel’

  • My non-artistic husband thought of the title for this work (maybe he’s not so un-artistic?). My trusty Holga and I were sitting under these two trees when I looked up and saw a great opportunity.

  • Oil on paper / Approx A5 This is one of my new pictures in oil paint. / I have used acrylic paint for twenty years and have only recently discovered oils! The oil paint has been layered over an acrylic black ink sketch. I have tried to convey the idea that society places such importance on beauty and perfection, but that we all have cracks and imperfections and that we are all damaged in some way. I think this is very relevant in the way that modern society dictates what is acceptable for women to aspire to.
