One of Perth’s most photographed waterscape. The best photographs tend to be those unplanned moments that don’t come along all to often, when mother nature and timing cross paths. As Ansell Adam said: ””A good photograph is knowing where to stand”” but I think it is also knowing…when. I think I was extremely luck to catch this moment, as I have seen hundreds of photos of this place, but I think I have captured the amazing symmetry that the nature hides most of the time.

this is a fractal with one of my swan photo’s that I took .. this took me a few days because Its so busy now with all the newborn kittens at the Humane Society and sooo many of them ..I really wish people would get their cats neutered so there wouldn’t be so many homeless kittys and end up in the shelter having more and more kittens …. and sweet as kittens are … if people dont adopt them ...they have a sad existence in a cage for a very long time All money that I make from sales from Red Bubble will go to the / TorontoHumaneSociety

This is my first experiment with multi exposure- using swans in flight over a shot of a moonlit sky! I’m so excited I have actually managed something new on tha computer- please like it-make my day!!!

This is new for me – a mixture of two photographs – swans in flight and a moon shot and made as a collage. It is better than the last one- which I promptly deleted – hoping for honest opinions please!! / Both pictures taken with a Fuji A600 Compact Camera and merged together in Picasa 3. This was fun, and I used a base infrared image that I shot in my own back garden, yes that wonderful tree is outside my window..;-) The swan and moon are from elsewhere in my wanderings, and what a nice composition they all made together…oooh I just love infrared!

A winter`s evening on the Swan river with the reflections of the City of Perth. I had to wait awhile to shoot this image as some months before there had been a gas explosion up north and WA was on limited gas supplies and consequently all the city`s lights were getting turned off, however I think it worked in my favour, as the cooler winter weather enhanced the blues of the image.

The Crawley Edge Boatshed on the Swan River, One of the most iconic landmarks in Perth. The Boatshed is believed to have been built in the 1930’s. Taken with my 5DMkII and 24-105 f/4 ISO 100, 30 second exposure.
