Okay final snow/tree scene….On my way to Durango Colorado
Colorado Blue Spruce branches after a snow storm.
A tall evergreen standing in front of our home. I would estimate it to be about / 100’ tall. Sure, it’s a bit of a threat to the house in a stiff wind but I vote that it’s beauty out weighs it’s threat. /
the growing end of a limb of our huge Blue Spruce /
The hollowed area where a limb previously grew out from this very large Blue Spruce tree. The ‘Red’ is about the small red drop of sap in the center hole. /

Pond Fairies. Saulxures sur Moselotte, Les Vosges, east of France. When I was child, I was fishing in this lake with my grand-father. I even win a contest. I cached a 500g tench ! — Saulxures sur Moselotte, Les Vosges, est de la France. C’est l’étang ou j’allais pêcher avec mon grand-père quand j’étais petit. J’y ai même gagné un concours. J’avais chopé une grosse tanche de 500g !
Another in my Christmas/Holiday card series. This one was a lot of fun, I have to share with you how it came about. The lovely blue spruce tree is in my front garden, it’s huge, and last Christmas after the BIG snow we had on Christmas Eve, I ran out for a second and shot a few pics of the lovely blue sky and the tree with tons of snow on its blue-green branches. Then, I took a shot of a furry toy animal I have and just zoomed in on the long fur, using Fractalius to make it look like long strands of blowing snow…this was all juxtaposed together, and voila! Ain’t Photoshop fun? Heehee… ;-)

New growth occurs on its own. / first in a series of three for the gallery show in about a month.
New growth will grown on its own, but as the predominant animal on this earth we are obligated to give nature a helping hand. Second in the enviroment series for the new gallery show
New growth when we don’t help and continue to abuse our planet. don’t worry the substance i used is non toxic and the little tree is one again safely planted in my yard.
Lovely yard with flowers, trees, rocks, stream and the list goes on. It is a beautiful sight, not sure how they keep it maintained but it is very picturesque! /
I grew up by a base where the Blue Angels flew all the time. I just had to get this photo at the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum in McMinneville, Oregon. The building in back holds the Spruce Goose. This Blue Angel is a photo of a 1956 Gruman TF-9J Cougar.
