Unexpected
by QuigiI noticed a crystal beginning to form on a wick, so I put it under a U.V. spotlight and took some macros. The only manipulation of this shot is severe colour correction since U.V. shows as a reddish/purple hue on everything.

As much as we all like to think humans are great and everything, the fact remains we all start out as tiny little squishy embryos…that look remarkably similar to a whole load of other creatures as embryos. This one was drawn from life, it’s a 48 hour old chick embryo.

Robots are being build to resemble humans in every way and computers are able to proces data with superhuman speed. / So what will the future bring for humanity? Do we all have a robot clone which takes over our day job, so that we can do whatever we like? Or are we going to be upgraded with implants to make our brains work faster and more efficient? / This may be a distant future, but this t-shirt will bring the future to you! With the global economy caught in the gravity of the financial crisis, it’s sad that programs like the Constellation Project will have a long wait before anything truly gets off the ground. / / NASA’s Constellation Project is set up to finish the International Space Station, retire the Shuttle Fleet and build a whole new fleet of space vehicles which will take us back to the Moon, then Mars and then the places beyond. / / But with Congressional limitations and funding cutbacks due to the financial crisis, as well as being stuck with a complicated and restrictive “go as you pay” finance structure it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing any groundbreaking manned space flights in the naughties. / / This image represents a fleeting memory of a childhood dream to see man explore our planets and then the stars beyond and it’s one of the few things as a child I looked up to America for. / / The universe is a big place and we’re yet to make it out of our solar system but without programs like the Constellation Project, man may never ever get to make another giant leap. / / DETAIL / / / /

FusionOrb, so called because of the origins being the mysterious arrival of the Orb. Of course some scientists got their hands on it and utilised it to produce a fusion generator. Why not hey! Modelled and rendered in Maya, post production in Photoshop. Changed the background colour, added gradient and pattern to the background.
