This was taken at Dickey beach in QLD. The rusted remains of an old ship reminded me of dinasour bones rising out of the sand.

Here are my 3 playing at the beach during a storm. I’ve had a bit of a play with colours and liked the end result. I find this quite dreamy and surreal almost.

Sometimes even mistakes can turn out right. Here I woke up really early, way too early as I misjudged the time for a sunrise. So for an hour or so I was just waiting for the light. As the moon descended this opportunity arouse. This shot is taken at a point where on one side of the beach you can see east and watch the sunrise and basically just turn around and face west and watch the moon set. At this point the resort was abandoned, hence the chair. I only moved it slightly to improve the composition. I know that in an artistic sense this is quite simple, however to me it has great meaning. The image is of my two boys who are also the best of friends. They have an unbreakable bond and here, they are doing something they love; just being together.

A re visit today to the shipwrecked sailing vessel, “Pisces Star” that came aground over ten years ago near the Lighthouse at Carpenters Rocks, Limestone Coast, South Australia. Extremely low tide today and great sky’s allowed for some panorama sets with an old tripod sitting in salt water…. Canon 400D – 18-55 with CIR Polarising lens. 5 shot set stitched in Photoshop CS3.

Located on Venice Beach, FL this beach did not have many sunbathers which made it easy to photograph. I loved the large clump of seagrass that was on the sand. 50 blades of seagrass blowing in the wind! Taken with a Canon XTI / f/8 / ISO-100 / 1/640 sec / 24mm
