The north ridge of Ama Dablam as seen from Chukhung in the morning. Apparently, that’s one of the ways up to the summit. Such a beautiful mountain, from so many angles.

Ama Dablam in all it’s glory as seen from the slopes of Island Peak. The ridge the extends west (right) from the main peak of Ama Dablam sits at around 6200m, the same height as the summit of Island Peak… I almost can’t believe we climbed so high. Taken with a Canon 400D using a 17-85mm IS USM lens with circular polarising filter.
