Here are my 3 playing at the beach during a storm. I’ve had a bit of a play with colours and liked the end result. I find this quite dreamy and surreal almost.

Yes, they are my feet and I’m relaxing on the beach watching the kids play in the water. I gave this image some texture and it reminds me of a very lazy, Aussie summer’s day at the beach.

I know that in an artistic sense this is quite simple, however to me it has great meaning. The image is of my two boys who are also the best of friends. They have an unbreakable bond and here, they are doing something they love; just being together.

Ink, some graphite and charcoal on paper. Robert Johnson was truly the grandfather of blues. Inspiring such musicians as Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters and the Rolling Stones. His music has deeply affected my love for blues and music in general. My portrait of Robert is a small tribute to the amazing body of work he produced. Through every layer of pencil and every stroke of my hand, I tried to capture the essence of Mr. Johnson onto paper. I depicted every detail in my portrait, from the old curtain hung behind him to the design on the blanket he sits on. Each pinstripe was painstakingly reproduced as well as the weathering on his guitar. My desired end result is that you will feel like you are looking at an aged photo of Robert Johnson. I believe when you truly study this piece you will hear his music and see the richness of his character portrayed in through my pencils. I took this photo in 2004 when I lived in Ireland. We spent the day by the beach and were very ready to head back home. We finally got all the way back to the car and I saw this little toy and said “hold on! We can’t leave yet! I have an idea!” I ran back to the beach and took this shot and several others.

Took this a couple of weeks ago of my little girl at the beach and realised it’s potential this morning when I started to play with the colour, light and layers so of course I though that I would share!

Here is the image following ‘Red Ribbon’. My little girl worked out how to open the heavy back gate and thought she could escape into the big park at the back of our new house. I decided to add this image to satisfy the curiosity of everyone who wanted to know what she saw through the hole in the gate!

I took that shot at the lake near my house .The ice was melting and I found that lost red ball reappearing with the spring … When I found Redbubble ,my heart just melt,it was like spring on a sunny day!!!! /

I decided to make the most of the nice weather so my little girl & I played in the park.. I tried to take some good shots but she’s forever running from the camera, she’s very strong willed and everything always has to be her way so here it is! / P.S.. Cannon Beach, Oregon. Nikon D80. As is. The sunset was sooooo gorgeous! October 4th, 2009 Walking up and down the beach, with the kids and the dogs and my sister and my mom! We had a great time this weekend! Earth Keepers: There was virtually no trash on this beach… it’s very well kept and just amazingly beautiful! Lets all try harder to keep it that way… everywhere!!!
