Scratch, our Siamese, photographed with what would on a normal day be his dinner. Birds were shot at a local pet store and added in Photoshop. As the birds were photoraphed in cages, the bars they were behind had to be cloned out, and this took a lot of time and patience. Addition of shadows and direction of lighting effects were important factors to getting the image to look realistic. 5169 views… 9 November 2009
What-not shelf with collage of extracts from some of my pictures. I originally shot the shelf at a Brussels flea market in black & white.

This is our new pup Phoebe Roo ( she’s like a kangaroo) she’s an Italian greyhound, only 13 weeks now. I have a pic of my other dog Millie on here so to be fair I took one of phoebe too.She has this one ear that is always sticking up. She is so fast now we cant even catch her, she sure is stirring up the house, we just love her to pieces !!
Sorry to all those who don’t like “pets and babies” photos… ;) This is my kitty trying to catch a fly on the window last night… The sun was coming down into our living room which gave that nice glow on one side of his face. I was originally going to make it all black & white but I just couldn’t bring myself to leave his gorgeous blue eye out! Update 22/03/2009: / Thanks to all your comments this photo is now on page #1 of the “most popular pictures of all times”! Please leave a comment and/or favourite it to help me keep it up there !! / Thank you all again for your support! :))
An IR shot of two horses. / Luckily they both stood still for the 2 sec’s I needed them to.
This is Lego. / (part Siamese). His eyes are shockingly blue.. / and as you might have guessed..he likes Lego’s. / He, along with his 5 siblings & pregnant mother, is kind / enough to allow me to continue living here with them. :-/
Barney looking down on his subjects!
Heaps of cats, heaps of colour…I lost count when painting these…they are also around the sides…at least 70 of them!
Acrylic on canvas. / This is in memory of my cat ‘Moon’ who was very grey…more than blue.
I generally am not a horse fan. Or a country girl. (Even though / I come from a long line of knife wielding half crazed Texas / Indians..) But I couldn’t help myself when I saw these two today. The kitty put its nose right up to the horse’s..I couldn’t believe it..

My British blue shorthair cat called Sapphire Blue or Saffy, for short. She just loves getting into boxes, sleeping on top of boxes etc. She is great company even when she is sleeping. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D with flash for this shot.

Vincent’s Cat Recently I’ve been looking at Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings. I love his irises and wanted to paint some myself. Their complicated forms and brilliant deep blues captivated me. As some of you may know I have a fondness for cats. During my life I have had two exceptional ginger cats ‘Victor’ and ‘Mittens’ who were very dear to me; this is dedicated to their memory. Acrylic on canvas / Size: 30cm x 30cm Original SOLD
Frankie, a Ragdoll, has made himself at home as you can see. This shot was taken just before he took a nap on Tuesday afternoon January 6th 2009. In two weeks he has grown quite a bit and is a handful. Leaping, jumping, chasing anything, when he is not sleeping, eating or pooping. He is cuddled up on my husband’s T-shirt, draped over my husband’s office chair in the home office, while I am sitting at my computer. All the light on his head and fur is from the window just behind him. Frankie was rescued from the streets on Tuesday December 23/08 by my son Kevin. Al Fresco Cats / Acrylic on canvas / Size: 505mm x 405mm I’m combining three of the loves of my life here – cats, gardens and food. / These two cats resemble a couple of cats I had as a child, Skittle (black and white) and Victor (marmalade). They are just deciding what to eat first, perhaps the cheese…as / there seems no meat available.
big nose. big heart. small mind. lots of love.
Close up shot of one of our many “barn kitties”. Dubbed that since we have a barn on the acreage and they sleep in it in the winter. :) They’re technically not our cats, since the mother was dumped out here a few years ago and the father is a stray from who knows where. This little guy is part of their second litter.

This image for me is an image of the Jesus of all street dogs. Icon, like it or not. Gringa is one of those abandoned street dogs we are trying to find a family for. She´s now living in a dog´s shelter. It´s heartbreaking to see all the street animals here in Lima. It´s a time for a new religion. It´s time for a better world. Do not buy! Adopt friends! Acrylic on stretched canvas / Size: 12inch x 12 inch / Original SOLD Sorry I haven’t been around much over this last week. I have been busy painting, as two exhibitions are coming up. I will try and get round to catching up with all your beautiful work this week. / ~ Anni :) This is Bella, a librarian’s cat. She is very well-read. Bella likes nothing better than to find a quiet, warm spot and to curl up with one of her favourite books. She has an extensive library for such a young cat. Just look at her titles.
