  • THE MAGICIAN
    by Al Neaimi

    US$4.99–US$133.00

Gallery 1 / Gallery 2 / Gallery 3 / Gallery 4 / Gallery 5 / Gallery 6 ============================== / Best viewed in large view for details Traveling on his way, the Fool first encounters a Magician. Skillful, self-confident, a powerful magus with the infinite as a halo floating above his head, the Magician mesmerizes the Fool. When asked, the Fool gives over his bundled pack and stick to the Magician. Raising his wand to heaven, pointing his finger to Earth, the Magician calls on all powers; magically, the cloth of the pack unfolds upon the table, revealing its contents. And to the Fool’s eyes it is as if the Magician has created the future with a word. There are all the possibilities laid out, all the directions he can take. The cool, airy Sword of intellect and communication, the fiery Wand of spirituality and ambition, the overflowing Chalice of Love and emotions, the solid Pentacle of work, possessions and body. With these tools, the Fool can create anything, make anything of his life. But here’s the question, did the Magician create the tools, or were they already in the pack? Only the Magician knows – and on this mystery, our eloquent mage refuses to say a word. At #1, the Magician is the male power of creation, creation by willpower and desire. In that ancient sense, it is the ability to make things so just by speaking them aloud (“And God said ‘Let there be Light!’ and there was Light”). / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / To read more go to this site

  • Poupee
    by WanderingSoulArt

    US$5.70–US$152.00

The complete and real title is : “Poupée – InnerSelf”. I asked to myself : Stars… They bright the sky, our eyes, our mind & soul. They are inside of us. We always look for them, for these glimpses of lights and happiness. / Do we really know ourselves? / Do we realize that we have all of this inside of us? / What are we in fact? / As we don’t really look in the correct place, we don’t really know ourselves i decided to ‘almost’ delete the face. • The ancient Celtic god Cerrunos is known by many names, including the Stag King, Lord of the Hunt, Lord of the Wildwood, or Green Man. He’s portrayed with totems I personally associate with him. Lord of the Wildwood is the consort of the goddess portrayed in another painting on my RedBubble page titled ‘Lady of the Wildwood’. The hawk in this painting is the same goddess, perched upon her Half Side’s wrist and guised in the form of a raptor. She’s not a captive, but has voluntarily placed her heart in his safekeeping: note her heart on a string, so loosely entangled in his fingers. He guards it well and would never hold her against her will, nor attempt to prevent her taking flight. The empty place in her chest is where her heart once beat, now replaced by an hourglass shape. The hourglass motif symbolizes eternity, for they are lovers season after season, life after life, for all time. Below is an excerpt from what I’ve written about this image. The Stag King’s Song: “I am the masculine spirit of the woodland, male energy balanced and personified. I am the virile, high leaping stag, traversing the tangled and mysterious wildwood with fleet, sure hooves of darkness and light. I am the traveler of worlds, clear stag sight piercing the secret places existing between the dimensions of velvet shadow intertwined with cool, silvery moonlight. Neither bruised leaf, nor single cloven hoof print gathering water in the moist, nor dark mud beside the hidden spring marks my silent passing. Twilight, the crossroads time when day intersects night and the landscape is veiled and indistinct, is the doorway. Between the hours of dusk till dawn, I shed my human shell, and journey forth into other worlds. I dance. I dance until my thoughts flow from this dense dimension and enter the realm of ephemeral, transitory realities; No longer earthbound, I am the lengthening ray of golden fire shot from sun’s bow. Watch my trajectory crossing the encroaching night, caressing a hawk’s dark wing with my final, brief streak of flame as she arcs homeward to nest. I am the spark of playful intelligence flashing in otter’s eye – am indeed a fine, shining otter lithe of body and resilient of soul, rejoicing in the tumbling waters and white foam. I am the glint of light illuminating a perfect curve of ivory fang – wolf’s enigmatic smile; I see beyond the mask, perceive you for what you are. I am cougar, stealthy, silky, the color of dry leaves, and as I set my great, silent paw upon dry pine needles – hear my harsh, snarling cry. I am the masculine soul infusing the heart of the greenwood, and all wild things within and along her boundaries. I am male energy balanced, male energy personified”. • Nest Building Time
    by Bonnie Taylor Barry

    US$4.28–US$114.00

This male Eastern bluebird is helping the female build a nest with straw. The outcome is always a marvel, a perfectly formed little teacup-shaped nest that is usually topped off with a tiny feather before egg-laying begins, one a day for five days. Then comes incubation time, hatching, tending the nestlings, and finally giving the babies freedom when they fledge. Here in southern Louisiana, the scenario is repeated three times with as many as 15 new baby bluebirds coming into the world in a pair’s spring/summer mating season. I never tire of watching the drama. This beautiful little male is making his home in my mother’s yard where there are doves, finches, titmice, chickadees, cardinals, sparrows, red-wing blackbirds, and Lord knows what else! They love it there!

  • THE HIEROPHANT
    by Al Neaimi

    US$4.99–US$133.00

Gallery 1 / Gallery 2 / Gallery 3 / Gallery 4 / Gallery 5 / Gallery 6 ============================== / Best viewed in large view for details Having created a solid foundation on which to build his future, the Fool is struck with a sudden fear. What if everything he’s worked for is taken away? Is stolen, or lost, or destroyed or vanishes? Or what if it is just not good enough? In a panic, he heads into a holy place where he finds the Hierophant, a wise teacher and holy man. Acolytes kneel before the man, ready to hear and pass on his teachings. The Fool tells the Hierophant his fears, and asks how he can be free of them. “There are only two ways,” says the Hierophant sagely, “Either give up that which you fear to lose so it no longer holds any power over you, or consider what you will still have if your fear comes to pass. After all,” the Hierophant continues, “if you did lose all you’d built, you would still keep the experience and knowledge that you’ve gained up to this point, wouldn’t you?” This surprisingly pragmatic advise releases the Fool from his fear, and he is able exit out of the sanctuary and face the world’s challenges once again. Hierophant appears as a person, he’s likely an old, favored teacher, therapist, counsellor, advisor, sponsor. That young Priest with progressive ideas, or the old Rabbi who was always so down to Earth and fun, or maybe an uncle who always offered such common sense advise. Unfortunately, he can also represent that nasty teacher the Querent is dealing with, the one who refuses to deviate from the text book, or a sour-faced elder who wants to keep the church old fashioned and in the dark ages. Standing for the Querent himself, the Hierophant might well warn against being too stubborn, especially in matters of theology or ethics. It can remind the Querent what it means to be a good, and beloved teacher. In this, the Hierophant can be very positive. When things are going very wrong in the world, the Hierophant is the one who wades in, quiets the panic, and offers good, practical advise. He symbolizes a connection to the divine, which answers with a very human voice, never oblique or mysterious. You know how to solve your problem, this card says; it is not easy, not a quick fix, but it is do-able. The solution is there, you’ve only to bring it down to Earth. / —-—-—-—-—-—-——- / To read more go to this site

This is about separation, loss, grief and blackness. This is about…the day we broke up.

  • This is a shot from Aarons second headshot session we did today. He got his hair cut and he grew out some facial hair a bit. I adore this shot of him and wanted to share this lighting setup because it worked magic on him…I am sure plenty of people have figured this out already but it is kind of new for me so yeah. I stood on a chair since Aaron is pretty tall and I wanted to be eye level or a little higher than him. I had my softbox turned horizontal above and behind me pretty much putting light almost straight down on his face. I then I had my oval reflector right under his face to bounce the light back into his eyes. It created smooth lighting onto his face while still having depth. The background is a white background very lightly lit with a back light but I had Aaron stand so far from the background it appears gray/blue.
