Up the road from the Promised Land and around the corner from Nowhere Else I stumbled across La La Hill. Bonus points if you get the reference ;)
Thank you to Max for the beautiful poem he so graciously loaned to this image. I think it is a perfect fit…. / Max Gatrell Gaia’s Rage Mother Goddess Clothed in smoke, / How I love to watch thee choke. / I yearn to dance in Acid rain, / catch thy beasts and cause them pain. / For Gaia we hate, know from our deeds, / Hence we pollute, to placate our needs. Appear we quite mad and rather insane, / For striving to kill our fulgent domain. / But that is our Karma, doesn’t it sting? / whilst songs of recycle, we fervently sing. / We claim to love, what we do not know, / We’re Hypocrites acting, but only for show. Glorious Gaia, The Titans you ate, / But death by mere Ants, shall be thy end fate. / For we will succeed where others have tried, / By damning the Seas and turning the Tide. / Thy colours now fade, Thy Oceans now fry, / what was once lush, will forever run dry. Exclusive to man, should rest this foul shame, / But nothing that lives, shall hide from her blame. / The extent of her wrath, will soon be felt, / when upon our heads, her ice shall melt. / Our number’s up, the end is insight, / For Earth’s execution is our Ladies right. Heavenly Dragon, Mother of Time, / No excuse can be given, for this awful crime. / Etherial Goddess, who dwells up above, / Facilitate change from hate into love. / I entreat Thee relent and suppress thy due rage, / For potential exists with the Dawn of New Age.

I am very happy on April 25, 2009 this photograph was featured on the HOME PAGE of RedBubble. As Shelley Heath kindly explained to me, Anzac Day in Australia is a day for remembrance of those lost through war. Red poppies are used as a symbol for remembering the fallen soldiers. April 25 already was a special day to me: it’s the Legal Holiday of the Liberation of my country, Italy, as well as my grandma’s birthday. Thank you for making it even more beautiful. Here is the Screen Shot of the Home Page: Just a few info about this picture: - It was taken with a point & shoot camera; - Most of my pictures are almost SOOC, I don’t like editing them with Photoshop or other software. I may use some filters, but all things I could have done with a ‘real’ filter, if I had it. My equipment is made up of only a camera and a lens now, unfortunately. / To me using Photoshop is indeed a kind of art, but not something which has to do with ‘photography’. - I love those power lines. I wanted them to be in the picture. This is my personal idea of composition. Everything doesn’t have to be perfect, to be beautiful. HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF THE ITEMS YOU CAN BUY: / If you are interested in any of them, please click the buy / preview button above and select the features which best suit your needs – Thank you very much! *
