  • The Blue Lagoon
    by lightsmith

    US$5.70–US$152.00

The lagoon was of course not blue. the blue of the sky is false colour obtained from the exchange of the red and blue channels of an infrared picture. The photo was taken in Geelong at the Aboriginal Craft & Cultural Interpretation Centre – Narana Creations. They have a beautiful walk and lots of artwork to buy. It’s a great chance to learn a little more about Australia’s real history. If it sounds like a plug then I guess it is although only by someone who’s been there once and was very impressed. It’s my first infrared lake so I’m happy with the results.

  • Dam Reflections
    by Naomi Frost

    US$4.13–US$110.20

Back to infrared. Taken on the farm in Tumut on the Canon 450D. I promise I’ll think of a better title.

  • Cucamonga
    by Naomi Frost

    US$4.28–US$114.00

  • Summer Snow
    by Jeremy Harrington

    US$4.28–US$114.00

This is another image from the series of infrared shots that I took from the banks of the local river today.. However instead of focusing on the water, I decided to turn around and shoot the hill behind me as I knew that the tree in the centre would turn out bright white compared to the rest of the trees and I knew the grass would turn out well.. / Hope you like it!

  • The Sky Is Broken
    by Naomi Frost

    US$3.99–US$106.40

  • Where They Lay
    by Jeremy Harrington

    US$4.28–US$114.00

This is the 3rd shot from today’s series of photos from the local grave yard.. I had heard recently that grave yards make a great subject for IR photography, and I personally think I have to agree as I believe that this is my best IR shot so far.. / The cross that you can see behind the headstone in the middle of the shot is the cross that I used as the subject for my So Dark The Con Of Man shot.. / Anyway let me know what you all think and i hope you like it all as much as i do.. Thanks for looking! Uploaded 31/01/2008

  • Deserted World
    by Jeremy Harrington

    US$4.28–US$114.00

Yes I finally got my IR filter! This is the first shot I have taken with it so far, however as I took this this morning while rushing to work, I completely forgot to take a tripod or to set the white balance so I feel quite lucky it even turned out at all.. I just wish it wasn’t so overcast so I could have captured the dark infrared sky.. Sure it isn’t the best IR shot, but I have plenty of time to learn! Thanks for looking!

  • Retired
    by Naomi Frost

    US$3.99–US$106.40

    Took it today as a huge storm was rolling in. It’s still IR. / / / / / / /

  • Amongst The Reeds
    by Jeremy Harrington

    US$4.28–US$114.00

This is one of a series of infrared shots that I took today from the banks of the local river.. / I thought the contrasts between the water, reeds, clouds and the sky turned out quite well.. / Hope you like it!

  • Splash
    by Jurgen Dabeedin

    US$7.58

A splash frozen in time. A cherry dropped into a glass of water breaks an infra red beam, triggering a high speed flash. An exposure time of 1/30,000s captures every detail.

  • Beneath A Black Sky
    by Naomi Frost

    US$3.99–US$106.40

This was taken at Swansea, Newcastle NSW, Australia. The water around this place is absolutley amazing – the most beautiful blues I have ever seen…unfortunately not so good for capturing in IR…but I managed to get the sky to turn out like the colour of the water. Honestly, that’s the colour of the water. / / / / / / / / / / /

    US$4.13–US$110.20

  • I don’t usually do IR shots with people or animals, but this horse was kind enough to stay still for me for 2 seconds. ......................................................................................................... Bored in a stable with nothing to do. / We make a game of throwing our shoes. / Lead me to water, but not to the track. / Show me a saddle and I’ll say, “Hey get off my back.” / All in favor (all in favor) say “Nay!” / We like the flavor of (we like the flavor of) hay. / We’re gonna graze all of our days. / Until they take us away and turn us into glue. / Like Mr. Ed always said… May the horse be with you. May the horse be with you. / May the Horse be with you everyday. / I trot by the fillies (they like me of course). / They all dig my band (yea I’m a rocking horse). / You gotta take off your spurs to ride me you know. / If you want me to stop then yell out “Whoa”. / All in favor (all in favor) say “Nay!” / We like the flavor of (we like the flavor of) ha / ..............................
