  • Morning rainbow, Jokulsarlon, Iceland Iceland / Belgium / Italy / France / Hungary / Spain / Sri Lanka / USA / London / Portraits / Other Jokulsarlon is a glacial lake that meets the sea in Iceland. One of the most beautiful places i have been on our little planet Earth. The tragedy is that this beautiful photo would not be possible without global warming. When in a cafe at a petrol station i saw a postcard of Jokulsarlon. One single large iceberg floating in the centre. As you can see now the lake is full. Note: The size if this work was increased using Photoshop CS2. / Best size being around the 50cm wide.

  • This photo is a personal favourite.. The ice-cave sof Antarctica are amazingly beautiful and alluring, yet incredibly dangerous. They shimmer with frigid, crystalline magic, daring you to sail on in to admire the interior decoration, yet the ice crystals could so easily become incisors in the jaws of destruction..

  • this gang of Adelie penguins gave me a great opportunity for quite a series of entertaining photographs as they zoomed busily about their icy playground. This photo has become a symbol of connection and friendship among my own personal group of nearest and dearest friends.

  • messin around with dragons again!

  • It is very hard to try to explain how incredible Antarctica is if you have not been lucky enough to travel there! For those of you who have, you know what I mean. For those that have not, I will (eventually) be adding more images to help you understand, as words are just not enough! / Let’s just say, I really really really wish I could go back (with a better camera and a longer lens)! :-) / / (Antarctica) / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /

  • Taken in the late winter/early spring of 2005 with a Canon A75 at a boardwalk in the town of Ste-Marthe-sur-le-lac, Québec, CANADA. The white expanse of snow visible beyond the trees is the frozen snow-covered Lake of Two Mountains.  Although I could see the arc of the trees when I took the shot and that is what I was aiming to capture, it was an extremely sunny day and I did not anticipate that the circle would be completed with the reflection… / Featured in All That Is Nature, May 2009 / Featured in Bits & Pieces group May 2009 / Featured in # 1 Artists of Redbubble May 2009 / Featured in the Natural color and light group February 2009 / Featured in Everything Winter / and Trees May 2008 groups. / Featured in Seasonal Scapes group October 08. / Featured in Seasonal Scapes group November 08,

  • The Icelandic Harvester. / / When I came across this old vessel moored to the pier my imagination started running wild with scenarios of what life aboard this wooden vessel would have been like. I could almost feel the sineous texture of the ropes as they hung there coated in the ice cold saltwater of the frigid North Atlantic Ocean. I could nearly hear the calls of the sailors as they shouted commands back and forth across her weather beaten decks as the waves crashed down upon her on any one of her numerous voyages. What sights must have been seen as sailors of old lined the rails to peer down at the mysteries of the sea. How many men were lost at sea and how many made it home with wild stories of his adventure aboard the Icelandic Harvester. / / Shot with a Canon 400D and processed in Lightroom 2. / / NautilusBlue / / nominated this image to be showcased in the group Pay It Forward and this is what she had to say… / / Ice Breaker / by Kevin Kroeker / I think it is an outstanding image with great composition ( great leading lines) with lots of drama and the colours are amazing . It shows us the harshness of the climate. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography /

  • Everytime I was washing the dishes in front of my window I kept looking at that fantastic scene .The snow had covered all the roof and at the same time my window ,it was completely dark ,until the snow began to melt .What a sight but I had to remove the icy snow with my hand and push inch by inch the window to open enough so I could go through the small window and take some shot .You should have seen me ,all wet and very happy of my idea. / I called it «communion» because ,at first the two icesticks were just one and melted until they got separated but it looks like they are reaching to get together again. The drop is the communion between them,a« metaphore» but for me it was magical. It’s like the time is suspended…..an untouched pic… / / /

  • The image has been created as an alternative to the popular and greatly exaggerated theory of global warming and its consequences. Since global warming activists predict a dramatic change of the planet’s surface in the nearest future, the Ice Age Premonition portrays our society in the new Ice Age. / Ice Age – A cold period marked by episodes of extensive glaciations alternating with episodes of relative warmth. Any geologic period during which thick ice sheets cover vast areas of land. Such periods of large-scale glaciations may last several million years and drastically reshape surface features of entire continents. A number of major ice ages have occurred throughout the Earth’s history; the most recent periods were during the Pleistocene Epoch. There have been at least four major ice ages in the Earth’s past. The last glacial period ended about ten thousand years ago. / Surrealism art prints / Digital art prints / Fantasy digital art wallpapers
