This is a statue that I photographed. In Photoshop PS2 I have selectively overlaid the face and hair with an image of some wallpaper from my hallway at home. I then gave it the blue tone and using some home-made brushes, added the stars and gave them a radial blur.

Sometimes we can see a scene, place or even an object and it catches our attention, we know there is a photopgraph to be made there somehow – perhaps not there and then, maybe later that day or under a stormy wet sky. I had envisaged a composition at this location and walked there under various light several days in a row and it was not until this dusk with the soft light highlighting one of the rock slab out of what was to be ‘misty water’ that I decided this is how I could represent this work of nature. / / / / Canon EOS A2, Fuji Velvia 50. / ©T.Middleton2007 —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— / / / see more of seascape photography by clicking on the image below / /
