Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. / On a recent short trip to Melbourne, we walked along the river behind Federation Square. It blew me away – so lively, energetic, vibrant. Even this high-rise came to life for me, courtesy of the lowering sun. For enquires about canvas prints, or photographic prints larger than Redbubble options, please contact me via bubblemail
Enjoy!

“Thought for a moment you were going to say you remembered me.” / Ben stared at the reflected light of the sky on an overhead lamp shade. The porch was crudely made and he felt the rickety wood rail wobble when he leaned back on it. / “I was going to say that this place is so boring. Then I changed my mind and decided to ask your name.” / “That’s OK,” Ben said. He shifted nervously and tried to think of an excuse to leave. / “I can’t remember everyone I meet. Is that a crime.” / The wind gusted down the outdoor staircase and blew discarded papers across the planks of wood. The steps shook as a man of great girth pranced down, smoking a cigar and flicking an ash in Ben’s direction. / “What am I suppose to remember everyone?” / The repetition irritated Ben and he looked away. / The he abruptly turned his head and said in a low voice. “You said you loved me. You were going to move in the next day. Then you went out for a pack of cigarettes and never came back.” / There was stillness in the silence. / Ben walked away. He hated that he wanted to run back. The sunshine shattered the room with slices of light. He ignored passing faces. He turned back to face the window to the porch and saw that it was empty now. And so was he. So was he.
Took this late one afternoon as we were moving out from home. The room was basicaly bare except for this tree and a few other things. Space II Enjoy! _

Rota Island / Northern Mariana Islands Here you will find palm fringed beaches with virtually no one around, unbelievable diving, pristine waters and incredible volcanic formations. Located along the Marianas Trench which is the deepest known part of the world’s oceans, and the deepest location on the surface of the Earth’s crust. / The trench is about 2,550 kilometres (1,580 mi) long but has a mean width of only 69 kilometres (43 mi). It reaches a maximum depth of about 11,034 metres (36,200 ft) at the Challenger Deep, a small slot-shaped valley in its floor, at its southern end. Life on this island is friendly and unhurried and the hospitality is as unforgettable as the magical sunsets. Rota Island is a natural playground with around 3000 inhabitants and is known by many to be Micronesia’s best-kept secret Rota (Chamoru: Luta) also known as the “peaceful island”, is the southernmost island of the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) and the second southernmost of the Marianas Archipelago. It lies approximately 40 miles north-northeast of the United States territory of Guam. Songsong village is the largest and most populated followed by Sinapalo village (Sinapalu). In 1521, the first European to see Rota, was the lookout on Magellan’s ship Victoria, Lope Navarro. However, Magellan’s Armada of three ships didn’t stop until they reached Guam, so the first European to arrive in Rota (in 1524), was Spanish navigator Juan Sebastian Elcano, who annexed it together with the rest of the Marianas Archipelago on behalf of the Crown of Spain.
