  • Cat Fish Blues
    by Scott Ruhs

    US$3.42–US$91.20

This was taken on a very foggy day at Long Cove near West Pennant, Nova Scotia, Canada. / / It was named “Cat Fish Blues” because it looks like the boat had jumped out of the water, and because of the feeling of sadness or loneliness it invoked in me. / / The image was originally shot in color, but due to the thick fog the color was quite muted, so I converted it to black and white using Photoshop, and then added a bit of texture via filters to give it a more vintage feel. This is available as any of the available product from Red Bubble and would be suitable as a framed print. / / Buying this print as a gift? Why not get a matching card to go with it? / /

  • Dar-Bot
    by Scott Ruhs

    US$3.42–US$91.20

There is a Facebook application that will take the face from one photo and add it to another photo. So I decided to have some fun with it. I took a photo of Darlene from New Years Eve a few years ago and added it to one of the provided images in the application. It did ok, but it still needed improvement to make it somewhat convincing. I downloaded the combined image and opened it in Photoshop. Through much tweaking with color and level adjustments, multi-layered blending and many filters this is the result. BTW she was wearing glasses in the original image. This is my version of a Fem-Bot….Dar-Bot “Dar-Bot” is available in all print formats offered by Red Bubble. / / / / Buying “Dar-Bot” as a gift? Why not get the matching card as well? / /
