Meg had fun posing, and Nanna had fun with the processing! Created with two photos and a few layers. Extracted the background from the legs, desaturated the colours, overlaid a photo of a texture and blended the background image through. As the sunrise burned trough the fog early Sunday morning, on Clear Lake near Hunstville, Ontario, two fishermen enthusiastically set out for their favourite fishing place… / This shot was as a result of an early morning walk in / August 2008 in the fog: part planning, part serendipity. Meet Mo. He is a little squirrel who loves the quiet of the darkness. He loves making wishes and shooting them into the sky towards the twinkling stars! Will his wishes all come true? This is a print of an original illustration that I did with ink and digitally colored. Mo and Teeny are two little squirrels that live in my head….they had to come out eventually! On the 12th day of May 2008 I witnessed (along with thousands of others) a perfect circle in the form of a rainbow around the sun at about noon-time at a beautiful place in the Philippines. Completely perplexed, stunned and amazed at this extraordinary and divine sight, I HAD to create this artwork. Im not sure where you were or what you were doing at this same moment of time but I guess this is all we have. Small pigments of time all squeezed together. And if we’re blessed enough, we get moments like these and realise even for a second the gravity of God’s love. There were no photo’s taken at the time and all I had available to me was the memory of this moment… The moment my heart burned. Print available. / Vector digital art created in illustrator.

We found a pink girly bike on the side of that road on the way to this shoot so naturally it was added to the already huge pile of random stuff in the boot. I jumped in the pool with these crazy musicians and kept handing them props and directing them to complete various acts of underwater stupidity. James managed to stay dry by offering to operate the camera through a viewing window. I also shot some film with an underwater camera but I’ve been really slack and haven’t developed it yet. If I’m lucky, being in the hot car for this long will have screwed it up a bit and I’ll get magical surprises when I finally make some prints. models: Jase and Tom
