In the original form this was a picture of a stingray taken at the San Diego Zoo in California. / /
A montage of shapes, textures, portions of original photos, and sky and sea, yes they are in there, which were created in Bryce. I keep a bank of shapes that have been created in either Photoshop, or sometimes, Illustrator and those that originate from photos, which I mix and match to fit the image (in Photoshop). In this instance the result is as you see it. It involved over thirty layers and took over almost five hours to create.
I began with a single rose placed flat on a table and then used a number of filters to create this blue abstract. /
poetry is more to me than words on a page multidimensional / beyond past and future / beyond up or down / always in and out of context / and breathing life through creation and how high is up anyway? (best viewed as large as possible)

This was an experiment with objects and how light bounces off of them. I found this spring and put a few seed beads on it which gave off a weird bokeh effect when placed on a CD. I used my sigma macro lens and the flash on my camera… More experimenting to come though! Enjoy!
