Pure white clouds dot a pattern across a deep blue sky while the harsh, dry arizona landscape is whizzing by the few cars on the road. Ever notice how cars tend to clump together in little herds on highways instead of all spreading out? It’s a herd instinct because nobody wants to be left in the middle, alone and vulnerable to being picked out by cops, right? The clouds are also a type of “wandering herd.” / . / June 2007, Sedona, AZ
