The complete and real title is : “Poupée – InnerSelf”. I asked to myself : Stars… They bright the sky, our eyes, our mind & soul. They are inside of us. We always look for them, for these glimpses of lights and happiness. / Do we really know ourselves? / Do we realize that we have all of this inside of us? / What are we in fact? / As we don’t really look in the correct place, we don’t really know ourselves i decided to ‘almost’ delete the face. Inspired by the book “The little Prince” No,I didn’t start painting but one of my friend realy influenced me for that macro picture of an icestick .The icestick was frosted on the rocs in the woods,the reason for those beautiful colors.I just add a bit of saturation to put up the beautiful blue because I think it’s his favorite color. / For my bubbler’s friend Nigel.. Kafka a man who loves «Le petit Prince» as much as I do…..... / «It is only with the heart that one can see rightly;what is essential is invisible to the eyes» / Antoine de Saint-Exupéry….. I see in that icestick a the little boy with a long white shirt ,the arms reaching to the sky with his head falling back,his legs are beginning to vanish….you know that moment when the snake bite him and went back to his planet …I clearly see the blue snake at his feet ….I know I know ...I have a lot of imagination but I realy see it …. :)))) .......Please take a look at Kafka’s work ,he a fantastic painter …x / / /

This is the 3rd shot from today’s series of photos from the local grave yard.. I had heard recently that grave yards make a great subject for IR photography, and I personally think I have to agree as I believe that this is my best IR shot so far.. / The cross that you can see behind the headstone in the middle of the shot is the cross that I used as the subject for my So Dark The Con Of Man shot.. / Anyway let me know what you all think and i hope you like it all as much as i do.. A giant River Red Gum dead on the banks of the River Murray near Lyrup South Australia. A favorite spot to visit but a strong reminder of the fragile nature of our world and how very much we need to protect this river and its environs… HDR conversion of a Blue Sky day!

That what you really want is a reason to vibrationally connect with who you really are. And so, you ask so much of people because you say to them, “You need to be the one who causes me to feel good.” And what we want to say to all of you is: If any of you are without the relationship of your dreams right now, that’s a wonderful thing. Because now you have an opportunity to work on the relationship that really matters first and foremost. And then, in that connection, the relationship of your dreams will come. Backwaters of the River Murray at Lyrup near sunset, late afternoon. Majestic old dead gums still standing out against the skyline. These flats are situated near Lyrup in the Riverland area of South Australia between Berri and Renmark. A great place for sunrise or sunset. Three shot stitch in Photoshop CS3. Canon 400D 18-55 lens with Polarising filter.

The sad part of my recent visit to the Riverland of South Australia. A backwater area, normally with substantial water, slowly drying out in the drought with salt and acidification of the soil. The drought and inaction on the river levels is certainly causing irreversible damage. However it needs to be said that there is still plenty of water in the River Murray itself for activities and visits. We need to continue to support the tourism and other businesses along the river as they battle through hard times. So that said, go visit the river and its people and maybe drop back away from the river itself and see what is slowly happening to the backwaters. Canon 400D 18-55 lens with CIR Polarising filter. Before the dawn, Noora Evaporation basin near Renmark South Australia. Just before the sun with a brooding blue stormy cloud line silhouetting the majestic old dead river redgum trees that line the basin. As most of you know this is one of my favorite spots to sit and watch the sun come up! Canon 400D – 18-55 lens with CIR Polariser topped with ND4.
