This pic was taken in my parents’ garden in Abergele, North Wales in the middle of winter… / My parents thought that I was crazy trudging around in the garden with my tripod, but to me it was quite normal… Capturing the moment as usual… I might add some greeting text on the left hand side in a gratuitous attempt to capture the Greeting Card market on RedBubble…

crystal clear waters give the feeling of a tropical paradise. Icebergs and sub zero water temperatures tell another story
Several layers of infrared and some conventional elements in negative and positive forms. It’s a bit strange, but I liked it anyway..;-)
H2O at Minus Twenty (Celsius): A macro study of ice crystals formed on a window pane while the temperature was -20 C outside on a sunny day. The crystals have been beautifully backlit and contrast with the shadows beyond. Taken in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in January. Also appears in the calendar Reflections of the Seasons

Made in Ultra Fractal 5. As beautiful as a White Christmas can be, the magic starts to wear off as the months drag on and on. Winter, here in Montana, doesn’t end until the snow finally has melted off at the beginning of June. That gives us about 2 weeks of Spring before the summer heat hits. 12/22/09 – Featured in the BITS AND PIECES Group.
An abstract look at icicles hanging from Hardy Falls in Peachland, BC, Canada.
