H2O at Minus Twenty (Celsius): A macro study of ice crystals formed on a window pane while the temperature was -20 C outside on a sunny day. The crystals have been beautifully backlit and contrast with the shadows beyond. Taken in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in January. Also appears in the calendar Reflections of the Seasons

Made in Ultra Fractal 5. As beautiful as a White Christmas can be, the magic starts to wear off as the months drag on and on. Winter, here in Montana, doesn’t end until the snow finally has melted off at the beginning of June. Painted by Photoshop!!! LOL…. This certainly is not all that special. I finally got one of the photoshop programs…So I’m trying to learn to do something besides just the basics….I think it’s going to take a LOT of practice….....but it is a LOT of fun…...
