    US$4.28–US$114.00

As the sunrise burned trough the fog early Sunday morning, on Clear Lake near Hunstville, Ontario, two fishermen enthusiastically set out for their favourite fishing place… / This shot was as a result of an early morning walk in / August 2008 in the fog: part planning, part serendipity. I particularly like the fact that compared to a lot of fog shots it displays color to I think an advantage and shows the promise of a beautiful sunny day emerging… Featured in Canada: The Great White North group September 2008 / Featured in the Nirvana group September 2008 / Avatar for Shots In The Fog group October 2008 / Featured in the ImageWriting group November 2008 / Featured in the RB featured art, November 2008

  • Circle of Life
    by Joanne A. Bradley

    US$3.99–US$33.25

Taken in the late winter/early spring of 2005 with a Canon A75 at a boardwalk in the town of Ste-Marthe-sur-le-lac, Québec, CANADA. The white expanse of snow visible beyond the trees is the frozen snow-covered Lake of Two Mountains.  Although I could see the arc of the trees when I took the shot and that is what I was aiming to capture, it was an extremely sunny day and I did not anticipate that the circle would be completed with the reflection… / / Featured in Everything Winter / and Trees May 2008 groups. / Featured in Seasonal Scapes group October 08. / Featured in Seasonal Scapes group November 08,

  • Bottomless Lake
    by Heather Rivet IPA

    US$3.42–US$91.20

Legend has it that a Canadian Pacific Railway Train..derailed at the other end of this lake and they have never found it…it is also known as dead mans lake, dead mans pond…etc..although I don’t believe that it has a true name on any map of the area..just local folklore.. This is an HDR.. / another artist on another site has written a short story to go with this picture and their interpretation of the legend: Skiethos has written another fine story for my Picture… Here is a story only a few have heard: / A train rumbled in the darkness of the night as it raced eastward carrying its cargo of passengers and materials. In the engine the conductor surveyed the landscape ahead as it was lit by the train’s lights. A moderate fog had settled over the region. The conductor knew this was a place in British Columbia not charted by maps or graphs, so being a cautious man he keeps vigil over the tracks. In the cars behinds the engine passengers are relaxing, doing business or have fallen sound asleep. Looking at the tracks ahead the conductor sees water under the tracks and sees that it is part of a large lake. He keeps the train’s speed steady and intensifies his watchful gaze. Up ahead he notices something odd, the tracks are getting lower and lower in the water. Still he can see they’re still for the most part above the surface so he asks the train’s speed to be slowed a bit. In some nearby marshes two people wade through the mud and thick grass and hear the train coming nearer to them and they hurry to find the tracks. As they come near they hear a tremendous splash and try their best to make it to the lake. When they reach the muddy lake shore they see that train has disappeared and in a state of shock they scramble to the nearest town to tell them what has happened. They race back to the lake to help in the search for the train only to find nothing. the search continues for three more weeks before the effort is called off. The story is still told today although many ignore it, a few have tried to find it themselves then return home empty-handed. The legend of what happened stil remains and attracts a few curious ones, but can only wonder about it. This is the Legend of Bottomless Lake. / / All artwork is © Heather Rivet, All Rights Reserved. • / / It would be such a pity to leave without a comment. Like it? Say so. Don’t like it? Say so too! With a bang, if that fits your style. I’d rather leave a negative impression (on someone) than nothing at all. DullnBoring is not my middle name. Neither my last (I knew you’d probably say that!). As for the first name, it’s on the front page. So, please, leave a note and make my day a beautiful one! • Fly me to the moon
    by Vasile Stan

    US$4.28–US$114.00

So inspired: you probably know the lyrics of Frank Sinatra’s song, Fly me to the moon: Fly me to the moon / And let me play among the stars / Let me see what spring is like / On Jupiter and Mars / In other words, hold my hand / In other words, darling kiss me. Fill my life with song / And let me sing forevermore / You are all I hope for / All I worship and adore / In other words, please be true / In other words, I love you. / / / /
