having given myself the afternoon to spend with redbubble I’ve decided to post a wildcard image into the fashion competion. Originally shot on velvia in available light and if you look really closely the model has a camera in her crotch. :) / This is a companion image to “Bloom” these look really good framed. hint hint :)

corner of mission and 2nd street, san francisco, holga madness. / kodak tri-x turns out this is just up the road fromt he new RB office, but I didn’t know that when I took it. (having only been to the US thrice i still find steam rising from the vents in the street most evocative, the locals probably find it annoying)

As a photographer you see things others normally dont see, even if you dont make a cent selling your work; the only thing that matters is if your able to share your vision.

Taken in the bush near Alice Springs. Waiting for the sun to come up and saw this dead tree and just had to take a shot with all the colours behind it.

A photograph of a bubble on some twigs….much like the other one but this one had a lot more reflections and colors. You can see my camera and my hand in the middle as well. / It is very yellow, I don’t know how that happened, maybe the gloomy grey skies. Most of them are clear with blue and pink streaks. This one reminded me of colored mercury glass. / (I added shadow to bring out the colors more.)

Holga magic- this is completely untouched.

Ok, so this isn’t official, just a bit of fun on my part ;) I’m a MASSIVE Storm Thorgerson fan, the guy is my hero. / Look him up, you’ll understand. / stormthorgerson.com This is actually an image that will be used in David Lampard’s production of ‘Elegies: A Song Cycle’.. well, the balloons that is. The pig I added purely because I thought it smacked of Floyd, and it just had to be done. So here, just for you guys, is the silly version. The real pig-less version can be seen on my dA account here And if you’re interested in getting tickets to the production, please follow that link to the deviantART version as all the info is listed there. Digital composite of several shots taken at the same time as the balloons were released. Took a bloody long time to edit, but there are no repeats and it’s all my own work, save for the pig ;) Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas Oh and Mr Gilmour, if you’re watching, my rates are verrrrrry reasonable ;)

Thing I.N.C
by AngeP/S Retouched by Ange. Digital Photographs shot/styled by Alex Viscontini (2008). Model: Roberta. P/S combined two shots (originals below which lacked edge on their own) to create one finished image. Model wasn’t appropriate for the shoot making it difficult for Alex to achieve what he had in mind. I retouched/airbrushed face/body, emphasised eyes, arched eyebrows, closed lips & enlarged them, minimised jawline, lengthened body/legs, re-worked hair/background elements, changed overall body perspective & added a magenta selective colour layer adjustment.

I’ve been hanging out to see of my new D-SLR would take infrared images….we’ve had heavy rain here for almost 2 weeks..thank goodness the sun is shining today. This is my first attempt. I set a custom white balance (with the help of the manual) and trotted off down to the lake. This is a 20sec exposure at f/6.3. Focal length 18mm and ISO 400. I channel swapped the colours in Paintshop Pro and this is what I got. Haven’t fiddled at all apart from that. This is what the original looked like straight off my camera (with a custom WB) I had to set the camera to manual, focus first and then attach the filter. A bit of fuss and bother as I never had to do that with my old FujiFilm, but I suppose I will get used to it.

To give an indication of the sheer size and scale of this cloud mass, on the bottom right of this image there are some full-sized pine trees and that small white dot next to them is a huge lighthouse sitting on the end of an island. . . Digital Camera

a twist on Andy Warhol’s famous line…this is a comment about the rise of a new social phenomenon CCTV as entertainment and the fleeting nature of fame….

Photo of my eye. I had a hard time choosing the photo with the most reflections in it but this one caught the camera and my hand the best, I also caught some sky, clouds, green bushes and the trees. It was a fun experiment but never again…....cropping 150 photos to see what I saw….ha ha besides I have plenty to last.
