Melbourne has a fascinating and marvelous mix of Victorian and contemporary architecture, and I love juxtaposition. I have never considered myself an architectural/structures photgrapher, but of late I seem to have started capturing images of this type. This one is one of my favourites, not only because of the juxtaposition, the color and the composition, but also because it was one of the best images I caught during a wonderful afternoon spent photographing with two very wonderful friends, and it is one of the first RAW images I edited in a decent package (ACDSee Pro 2).
Back to the crazy blue house that I used in the red and yellow leaf photos in the fall. The fire hydrant is there on the corner and the red car caught my eye as I was driving by and I just had to stop. / So glad now that they chose this color!
Just wanted to create some sort of still life in our backyard. / A simple old table, with pots and a birdhouse.. / Think it looks rather nice.. :)

Another scene from the adobe pueblo’s that are hundreds of years old. The ground level doors are a recent addition as the original entry was through the roof and that is why you see the ladders around the adobe structures historically.

This is the Old Red Museum in Dallas Texas with the Bank of America Plaza in the background. I thought the two made an interesting contrast in colour as well as architecture.
