I happened upon this lovely bench painted as the American flag while on Coronado Island near City Hall. The sun was setting. No one was around. Isabella’s voice giggling in the distance for me to hurry and catch up. It made me stop. And stand directly in front of it. Almost demanding respect. My heart beat faster. My throat lumped full. I felt sad and proud all at once. Instinct almost forced my hand to my heart. Instead it was my camera to my eye. A field behind my house in Lawton, Oklahoma. A while after sunset. Longer than normal exposure while I purposely moved the camera down…I wanted it blurred. Cross processed dicky – ver 2….. Just trying to prepare some images for competitions….what does everyone think of this colouring, too much? Canon 5D, 16-35mm at 21mm, f/16, 1.3” Another from the SS Dicky Series / And here’s the image in black and white! I used this to add the contrast by adding it as a layer and changing the blending mode to luminosity, then dropping the opacity to 50something% Seascapes / New Zealand / Frogs / Lensbaby / Infrared / Industrial / Spam / Panorama / Landscapes / Real Estate Series / People
