Technique inspired by Qu Lei Lei,wrinkling or crinkling is used to provide texture. Crushed paper is used after balling it up and flattening it. / Creases are made and then gently run a brush over the high points. The majority of these disappear when mounted. Ink Blotting is also done with this method. I have done this and then added watercolor to it. Origional is not for sale

Something completely different for me. Rained here today and a car left the car park dripping large volumes of oil from underneath. As it went these coloured patterns appeared in large circles throughout the car park. Colours were amazing and only lasted a short time until heavy rain eventually washed them away, probably into our drinking water somewhere…......

Chinese wrinkle art with blotting method used,this was one of the most used processes with wrinkle art. Done with inks and watercolors.

This an original acrylic painting by me. This is one of a series of paintings I did, first I painted on a color field, then laid the painting flat, poured on a blob of paint, decided it looked “Kiwi like”, the dried blob of paint also dried in a cracked spiral formation, I enhanced that spiral to make it stand out more….someone said that he looked sad even though I used bright colors, so the name “BluKiwi” was born.
