Took this image whilst at Strathalbyn recently, unfortunately I have no idea which gum tree it is from. All I know is it is a gum tree, the colours were spectacular, especially on the tree against the blue sky. This photo is of a part that had fallen to the ground in the high winds.

The sky was beautifully blue this morning when I was out with my dogs instead of sleeping after a night shift and when I saw the bright sun on the blossom I had to get a quick snap. Taken 26th March 2009
