  • There’s an area not far from where I live that has several lotus blossom plants. The lotus blossoms bloom in the summer, yet, there’s no specific time in the summer that they blossom. so it’s really hit or miss. Luckily, I hit the right time. Also, this is the first of several individual blossom shots, and it’s the only one that had the sun backlighting the petals like this.

  • I shot this image on November 2, 2008 right after our first rain in many months…..the roses seemed almost jubilent and full of life after the torrential and much welcomed downpour…...the sun was just peaking through the clouds for a short time, and the glow was made in heaven….......I hope you see the beauty and feel the peace just as I….... / / This image is copyright protected and registered.MCN:CooBF-008E9-42CBA / ___ / All The Materials Contained May Not Be Reproduced, Copied, Edited, Published, Transmitted Or Uploaded In Any Way Without My Permission. • ” ~ For My Friend Byron ~ 11” / / ~ In Loving Memory of your Mother ~ / / The long winter has passed, and it’s such a joy to see the forest come alive with new buds, and the Dogwoods in bloom.
