My backyard after a lifetime of work…
Flower macros constitute this calendar for 2009. I tried to match flowers with months in which they grow here in Louisiana; I am not 100% accurate but I tried. Camellias in January; amaryllis in February; iris in March; calla lilies in April; bottlebrush in May; roses in June; the splendor of the entire garden in July; wild grass seed blossoming in August; lily of the Nile in September; tiger lily in October; chrysanthemum in November; magnolia in December. (I know magnolias do not bloom in December but it looked like a Christmas candle so I chose it for that month). Hope you enjoy the view. (This is the second of my Petal Power calendars. See the other one as well if you have time).
A collection of mostly Floral images. Including 2 of my most popular pieces, Enchinacea Dark Dreams and Ephemeral Partings.
13 of my favourite images, all with PINK as their main colour.
I have traveled the universe to bring you these exotic blossoms. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did. :o)

It is quietly uplifting to be greeted by the vision of a gorgeous flower, every day of the year. Your eyes will see nature’s incredible beauty as your spirit responds the purely positive feelings that lovely flowers can invoke. A collection of beautiful flowers is presented on these fine art calendar pages. All of the photographs were captured just as they were found, in their totally natural settings. The images are of uncut flowers, photographed exclusively in 100% natural light. There are no “photo tricks” or enhancements applied. There are very good reasons why “gilding the lily” is such a well known phrase. Why try to improve upon the creator’s divine perfection, when it can simply be captured for all to enjoy!
