Flowers after Rain.

I am really sick of winter, however today I was in my yard and spotted a few blossoms opening up on the tree by the side of the road. I couldn’t help my self but take some photos and dream of spring….. The back ground is just the sky.. I actually have 2 more images that I also like so I might put them up and see how they go :o)

Chinese character “hei” means “double happiness” in english. Another experiment with metallic blue paper as a background and the flash on my camera… haha, I guess it worked well. I never use my flash, so that’s why this is so experimental, hehe. It’s also the stamen of a hibiscus.

Ted Widen took the photograph and I, Thea Walstra played with it. We ended up with adding a big, transparent ball / bubble. The bubble / ball reflects the fireweeds. We think that the result is very pretty. I hope that the Redbubblers agree. /
