These are my Ballerina Rose. One last cluster of blooms before winter takes hold.
The clematis has surprised us with a late bloom, so I’ve been out there snapping it again :) Taken with 100mm macro. More images from the Clematis series: / / / /
Precious gifts from God / Say to them, may the Lord bless you and protect you. May the lord smile upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace (Numbers 6:23-26)

B&W Cereus, Night Bloomer in my backyard. “Queen of the Night” watchthemagic This is such an extremely magical, fragrant bloom in the night. It opens up when it gets dark outside and then closes up the next morning. It’s truly a spectacular event, and well worth staying up all night for! It’s very easy to miss too, because -> it’s for One night Only By: / Terri~Lynn / 2009
A night bloomong Cirrus.I’m not sure how to spell that so correction is welcomed. The night blooming part is right ,I stayed up to catch it.They smell great from a distance, but a little too much in the same room. acrylic on canvas 20×16
Cereus bloom. (B&W) / QUEEN OF THE NIGHT I stayed up all night to capture this magical evening event!! I took a lot of pictures… :) Moon gardens, so named because of their glow-in-the-dark soft-hued flowers and plants with variegated foliage, have a life of their own. Shimmering in the glow of the rising moon, they release their sensuous scents into the night. Pale moths nibble on nocturnal blooms, fireflies dazzle and nightingales delight. The true flowers of the night are those that open only when darkness falls. For drama, nothing quite compares to the spectacle of the awakening of the night-blooming cereus. This ragged, sinuous cactus clambers up palm trees and fences with long, prickly, tangled limbs studded with huge closed buds. When dusk falls, the unsightly blossoms explode into splendid, foot-long flowers that set the night sky ablaze with their white fireworks. The plant well deserves its familiar name of Queen of the Night. WATCH this magical bloom appear: NightBloomingCereus By: / Terri~Lynn / 2009
Lani (Heavenly) This night bloomer is only open at night and has the most awesome fragrance. So worth the visit ! Let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works. not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together. —-Hebrews 10-24-25 / / Front Garden, Big Island, Hawaii
