I found this double pink hibiscus in full bloom during a walk around my town. The frilly petals make this a stunning flower and the slightly darker veins of pink running through the petals create interest. This photograph was taken in September 2007.

This is a picture I took of some lovely fall Marigolds I found here in my 6 block neighborhood. They were just begging to have their sweet little faces saved on film.(even if it IS digital). I love their scent and the pretty blooms they display-nice tight clusters. The foliage is always such a lush green. Very hardy plant, here. These are the typical Fall variety and will stay pretty until the snow comes-or a very hard freeze. It self pollenates by broadcasting it’s own seeds after the blooms dry up and will reappear,even double the next late spring. Taken: AS IS. Camera: Panasonic Lumix Mega O.I.S. 5X Optical Zoom DMC-LZ8
