Here is a photo of my little girl with her best friend still from my very girly series. I really liked the finished photo because to me it shows that a friendship would be the same 100 years ago as it is today.. Quite timeless so I would love to hear some feedback :o) Basia

I am really sick of winter, however today I was in my yard and spotted a few blossoms opening up on the tree by the side of the road. I couldn’t help my self but take some photos and dream of spring….. The back ground is just the sky.. I actually have 2 more images that I also like so I might put them up and see how they go :o)

Saltspring Island, just off Vancouver Island, is a peaceful spot to go to simply enjoy the beauty of the water, the sea birds, and the fir trees. And the Northwest’s plants are in their glory there! This watercolor painting is of one of the very colorful rhododendrons we found there one spring. “Autumn Gold” is its actual name. A lovely geranium with the most wonderful scent coming from its leaves if touched.. .. lovely in a pot near a path or doorway so you brush against it.. The little pink petals can be candied and used to decorate jellies and sorbets too (havent tried that yet..)
