Drove up the top of the hill because we had a dust storm blowing through town, by the time I took this shot the dust had all but blown away but there were plenty of storm clouds left. / Taken at the radio towers north of Newman, in left of the image you can see part of the BHP whaleback mine. I love the look of this wall and roller door, wish I had had more time in melbourne and a model to shoot in-front of it. / one of those locations you keep in the back of your head for later.

My first real effort at HDR, but I cant help but put some of the contrast back, think will keep playing with the idea though. / Abandoned mining equipment, Newman WA. / S5Pro 17-35 2.8 at 17mm, HDR from 3 bracketed exposures, selective colour and high pass from capture NX.

Having a play down the road in the car park with my D1, im debating weather to sell it but every time I use it I am happy with the pics, probly should keep it for a back-up, printed an A3+ with it a couple of days ago and the result was good, not bad for 2.7MP : )
