Ever day we come closer and closer to our own destruction, by over fishing and the poltion we dump into our seas ,oceans . rivers and streams ..This is happening ever were ….all over the world. / Is the end to this our own demise. / In years to come we will think back and tell our grandchildren how we once were able to fish freely any were we liked…. and how we were able to walk on the sandy beaches and pick up shells. / There will be no more fish or animals atall if we keep on our same path. / Unless we change now, we are the beging to our own end.
Dual tone watercolour. / Poundworld, 90lb paper
Also posted at: messa.deviantart.com This features a character from a story I am writing. Her name is Alice, and she is following someone through the wintery woods. I think this might be a dream sequence because she wouldn’t be able to survive harsh climates in that clothing otherwise!

Please support me and favorite this piece here too. Thank you / / Click them / / / / Featured at the All Abour Your Best Work group on November 25th 2008 Featured at the Graphic Editing 101 group on December 6th 2008 Thank you all! Something that just came to mind, I’m very happy with the results!! This is actually somewhat like something else I’ve had in mind, hopefully I’ll get to that idea sometime soon. This idea was to make me an alien of some sort, beautiful, yet slightly scary and slightly human-like. When inverted, most of the colors on my face make up a regular-looking face. White = black, blue-green = skin tone. So I look half normal in terms of color when this picture is inverted.

the cream of the crop, this was how I really learned about dry painting. the original artist use oils and I used acrylics it ended up pretty damn close but I had to use a dry brush technic at the time had no idea how to do after the painting was done I knew how to. Not a Lobo fan, but I love this painting. for those who don’t know who Lobo was, he was DC comic’s answer to Wolverine during the 90s. this painting as taken after the cover of Lobo #1 and painted on the back of a jean vest. / close up: /

My entry for the Lolita at Play, Ψ!Make it Dark!Ψ—Challenge :P If you didn’t know any better you could almost think she was innocent. There’s not even a drop on her dress… However, she did overlook one small drizzle on her mouth. Oopsie, tootsie.

This includes several of my photos, of filters and one hand painted purple hairstreak butterfly (female). I have also used the textures by - Khaosdog: Blood Splatter textures / - Bombay101: Splatters 01 The picture is based on the Chaos Effect theory that the flutter of a butterfly’s wing tip can cause a typhoon at the other end of the world. However, to me this also means that one tiny thing can change your world. The drawing of the Purple Hairstreak butterfly by itself can be see on my blog
Number 11 – almost there. In Cold Blood The collage has nothing to do with the novel of the same name by Truman Capote, but rather with the necessity to make life changing decisions with your head and not your heart. I have tried to play with the differences between heart (passion, fire) and head (ice, cold logic) in the image. The salamander, who of course is a cold blooded creature none-the-less looks hot, almost like lava, whereas the background is cold and spattered with blood. I’ve used various textures and some of my own patterns for this collage: there is a bindweed and a spiral grunge pattern, a grass/moss texture, a wall texture, a bark texture and an icy swirly texture made with my patterns. The textures that aren’t mine are: - Water/Ghostly Textures by Lithium0916 / - Khaosdog Blood Splatter textures / - One Cold Canadian Abused Floor Textures / - Buzillo Grunge Tthe fire salamander can be seen in detail on my blog. I stayed as true to the real thing as I could but emphasised the red/orange patches on its back to make it look more like magma and lava. The calender is now almost within reach. I started the final picture last night and will hopefully finish it today, so, fingers crossed, there will be a calendar tomorrow. :-) I’ll post the news of the calendar when I post the final picture.
This is another self portrait, this time inspired by the song ‘Changes’ by David Bowie (lyrics below). I’ve used: - a picture of myself / - lots of filters / - several textures, mostly my own but also a couple by Sirius SDZ / - embellishments (flourishes) from my embellishment kit (see) Here are the lyrics – I thought they just perfectly matched what I’d tried to do with this image: I still don’t know what I was waiting for / And my time was running wild / A million dead-end streets / Every time I thought I’d got it made / It seemed the taste / was not so sweet / So I turned myself to face me / But I’ve never caught a glimpse / Of how the others must see the faker / I’m much too fast to take that test Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes / (Turn and face the stranger) / Ch-ch-Changes / Don’t want to be a richer man / Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes / (Turn and face the stranger) / Ch-ch-Changes / Just gonna have to be a different man / Time may change me / But I can’t trace time I watch the ripples change their size / But never leave the stream / Of warm impermanence and / So the days float through my eyes / But still the days seem the same / And these children that you spit on / As they try to change their worlds / Are immune to your consultations / They’re quite aware / of what they’re going through Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes / (Turn and face the stranger) / Ch-ch-Changes / Don’t tell them to grow up and out of it / Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes / (Turn and face the stranger) / Ch-ch-Changes / Where’s your shame / You’ve left us up to our necks in it / Time may change me / But you can’t trace time Strange fascination, fascinating me / Changes are taking the pace / I’m going through Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes / (Turn and face the stranger) / Ch-ch-Changes / Oh, look out you rock ‘n rollers / Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes / (Turn and face the stranger) / Ch-ch-Changes / Pretty soon you’re gonna get / a little older / Time may change me / But I can’t trace time / I said that time may change me / But I can’t trace time
