  • I’ve been looking for an original sin

  • I liked the colour in this one. Taken on the Sony A200 again. Too much sea spray to take out the Canon.

  • Eastern State Penitentiary | Cell block Seven | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania / Nikon D70s | f2.8 | 1/50 sec. Placed in the top 10 in the Mood & Ambiance group competition, “Eerie.“ Opened in 1829 as part of a controversial movement to change the behavior of inmates through “confinement in solitude with labor,” Eastern State Penitentiary quickly became one of the most expensive and most copied buildings in the young United States. Some of America’s most notorious criminals were held in the Penitentiary’s vaulted, sky-lit cells. After 142 years of consecutive use, Eastern State Penitentiary was completely abandoned in 1971, and now stands, a lost world of crumbling cell blocks and empty guard towers. It is said that Eastern State is one of the most haunted places in the country.

  • Found my Mojo!, been ages since I got wet ;-) found these warn limestone blocks in the North Bay at Kaikoura on New Zealand’s South Island, carved smooth by the sea in a very blocky pattern, very different to the other rocks I found which tended to be sharp like sharks teeth. Shot on a Nikon D700 with 17-35mm lens, with Cokin ND4 grad filter.

  • I’ve been planning this idea for a while – just waiting on the right telly to appear….but bensound beat me to the idea Oh well… This telly belonged to my husbands grandma who passed away last year. I’m sure she would have been looking down on me today having a good chuckle as I lugged the telly around Newcastle Baths.

  • I took this in the Kruger National Park in South Africa. I was on my way from Skukuza to exit the park via Satara at the Orpen Gate. However, these guys had other plans for me. They had some little ones with them where they accupied this part of the road and they were very protective. There ware no way to pass them…they were too defensive. I waited an hour…hoping they will leave the road, but no luck. I was forced to turn around and exit the park at another gate. It was a huge detour, but all worth it! / /
