Rain drops on a window, forming a beaded-curtain effect with golden out-of-focus orbs from the patio outside. I had my camera with me while in a cafe with my daughter and my sister, and I spotted the raindrops … then those golden orbs appeared in the viewfinder too. A lucky bonus! / . / I’m delighted that this photo has been featured on RedBubble’s front page - / . / / .

Wow, I’m really scraping the bottom of the barrel pulling this thing out of mothballs! This little bitty was painted quite some time ago (I’m not sure exactly how long but I think Bill Clinton was still in office) It is the result of a lot of extra oil paint laying around, no brushes, no life, and a splitting headache. It’s also quite good at giving people headaches…go figure.

You know when they do glass blowing, and they take that molten glass blob from the furnace and turns it around on a stick? Well, this is a blob that cooled down before they could use it. Fractal generated with Chaoscope.

mr. and mrs. blob are very much in lurveee and connected to each other…they are very proud of their fancy spots, have a cheerful grin and only have an “eye” for each other :) i created these two monster characters about 4 years ago as part of my cartoon alien series. featured in the group Art and Stories Made For Child on the 25th of July, 2008.

Just a little design that came about from sketching shapes. Put together using lines and anchor points in photoshop. I had sketched some kind of little ghosty thing and wanted to see how it translated into a shirt design. Came out a little more modern and bubbly then I originally had it, but I like it. So here it is. It’s one of my favorites.

It’s a heart shape made of blobs of blood .. well .. 3d computer simulated blood anyway. Needs fixing to make it brighter for printing. Sorry, please contact me if you want one.

Yet another unusual wall design, i’ve seen this building loads of times but never thought of capturing it until a few weeks ago. The simple geometric shapes (circles and diamonds) coupled with the various tones of the circles makes for an interesting site from the street, it looks especially unusual when inverted but i didn’t post that one!

I have no idea of the name of this rose so have christened it the ‘Nemo’ after the fish in the cartoon film…. the petals are orange and white but the orange changes to a dark pink as the flower goes over
