I saw this flower in a park today and by its position it reminded me how blessed we all are in all he gives us.

I feel blessed just soaking in the beauty I see in God’s creation.

I’d finished my walk for the day In Derbyshire, near Ladybower resevoir. I sat under the bridge catching the sun and staring at the rocks under the water half asleep. A small patch of intensley glowing ripples catching the sunlight appeared . The dancing pattern looped around me like a fleet of unsettled birds racing. On the surface of a silky still stream. / / How could I capture this chance dance of sunlight? Trust your eyes, no tricks here. I took many shots of these glowing ripples out of delight and facination for it’s beauty. A most unexpected shot. The power of water and of sunlight with earth underneath combined into a hand The hand of Gaia.
From the shades of dreaming I arise. Calming Spirit, as I move into my day, remind me ever of those who do not have. Instill in me the immediate need to help others, as I, myself, have been helped. Bring blessings to those who are sick, hungry, and cold. May the Keeper of Healing wrap her mantle of protection around and about them, comforting them in their time of urgency. This day beckons me into remembrance. I beseech thee, Kind Mother, to gather unto yourself those who are scattered like so many leaves upon the wind. Bring them once again into the fold of your loving embrace, and fill them with your warmth and nourishment. May today begin a new awakening to the Earth, and may the souls of those who read this be uplifted. Blessings to those within and without the circle. My soul is made sain in the love of the Mother. ..enter the incomparable Kingdom of God….where he sent His Holy Spirit to a blessed virgin called Mary….. and the story unfolds…. Ave Maria ........All proceeds to charity wateraid.org first experimental digital painting on my Tablet in Corel….......This lovely story by kind permission of Marie SharpMarie.............. God’s wings…... After a forest fire in Yellowstone National Park, forest rangers began their trek up a mountain to assess the inferno’s damage. / One ranger found a bird literally petrified in ashes, perched statuesquely on the ground at the base of the tree. Somewhat sickened by the eerie sight, he knocked over the bird with a stick. When he struck it, three tiny chicks scurried from under their dead mother’s wings. / The loving mother, keenly aware of impending disaster, had carried her offspring to the base of the tree and had gathered them under her wings, instinctively knowing that the toxic smoke would rise. She could have flown away to safety, but had refused to abandon her babies. / Then the blaze had arrived and the heat had scorched her small body, the mother remained steadfast….because she had been willing to die so those under the cover of her wings would live. / He will cover you with his feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge. / Psalm 91:4Being loved this much should make a difference in your life. / Remember the One who loves you and then be different because of it. / This was shared with me by a Christian friend. Pass this along to whom you wish peace, love, joy and prosperity. People come into our lives for a reason…. ...
once in a while you get a picture.. you feel has been given to you as a gift from God this is one of ‘em.. it was a day of dreary rain.. all down pour.. and I was trying to write a poem.. something I haven’t done in years.. my mind wont work that way anymore.. and I was frustrated.. nothing worked. it was Christmas, and I hadn’t anything i could send out to my family yet.. I took my camera and shot from the small comfort spot out to the plumbagos that were drooping from the rain.. and I laughed.. because I could see how pathetic these flowers looked.. and then I saw it.. it was the reflection of the palm tree above me.. look up unto God was the message to me.. He always makes you smile.. and rain is necessary.. and poetry is everywhere.. and thats my story.. / All proceeds go to feeding , clothing and medicines for the extreme poor in Africa this is as is.. from the camera. Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world! / The word children doesn’t mean just the children as we know of the term, but all of us, red, yellow, black, brown & white. / If we all begin to ask as a child, without complex, without prejudice or judgement we will receive. Isn’t it nice to know that although many of us feel alone in the world, there’s someone who loved us so much he died for us.. what person would do that today? Who would sacrifice themself so you and your children and their children can be saved.. I’ll tell you who? The last perfect person that is Jesus! *Child in picture is a relatives daughter, candidly snapped at a wedding last year, I added the decorative ice design using floral brushes in Photoshop, over a vignette.
When I arrived to photograph this bridge yesterday, I was immediately greeted by a violent thunderstorm and torrential rain! I “rode out” the storm inside the bridge as I waited for the rain to diminish. My patience was rewarded with the vision that you see pictured here. The sky was still very gray and there was a thick mist in the saturated air. The sun was able to peek through an opening in the clouds, just above the horizon, before disappearing behind the mountain. This is the Moreland / Fraser Covered Bridge near Lairdsville, Pennsylvania. The bridge is on Covered Bridge Road, off of State Route 118 in eastern Lycoming County. It is also called the “Lairdsville Bridge” and is one of the finest examples of the true Pennsylvania covered bridge. The bridge has survived 121 years of thunderstorms, floods, hail, wind, snow and every temperature extreme imaginable. I thank God that this bridge still stands, as a testament to our rich heritage! The Moreland Bridge was built in 1888, permitting safe passage across “Little” Muncy Creek in Moreland Township. It is also know as The Fraser Covered Bridge. The structure still has all of its original timbers, in a classic “Burr Arch” design. This bridge is officially listed on the US National Historical Register and has been beautifully maintained by the Lycoming County Commissioners. Interior View and Construction Details of the Bridge A Canon EOS 10D DSLR body, fitted with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L Zoom lens was used. The lens was set to its widest focal length of 17mm. The camera’s shutter speed was 1/90th sec at f/4. The camera’s ISO was set to 100. This photograph was taken “hand-held” and is “straight from the camera” with no processing or alterations. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances within our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.” Copyright 2009 – 2010 © Sharon Mau / ourjrny / The Heart Within the Art / My images do not belong to the public domain. / Reproduction is strictly prohibited. / All rights reserved Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi / Shooting Date/Time: 30 August 2009 12:34:40 PM / Tv 1/250 / Av 10.0 / ISO 100 / Lens EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM / One-Shot AF / Drive Mode Single-frame shooting
