After diving around Malta for over six year I have finally got to dive on the Blenheim Bomber, located out of Massacala, in the south of the island. Although the viability was not too good I have managed to get a couple of shots from the dive. I hope to dive it again this winter and hopefully the viz will be allot better. The Blenheim Bomber served in Malta during 1942/42. During a return trip from Greece Bomber number Z7858 they were attacked by Italian Macchi C200’s. They were unable to return fire from the top turret as the gun was jammed. All crew survived the emergency landing in the sea, and were picked up by a Maltese fishing boat.
