Green veins pumping life. Segmented. One single Blemish. Another image from my Abstract nature collection, created with minimal to no post processing. For those of you (like me) who just have to know what photographs like this are actually of, this is a macro shot of a strelitzia (Bird of Paradise) leaf back lit by the summer sun.
Concept : The close up of a bruised succulent plant leaf is used to depict the spread of pains and sufferings. The photo can also be used as an abstract background.
We all strive for that perfect image, everything just so…..... and with flowers we look for perfection, no spots, no blemishes…........... but like us their beauty fades…....
This composition provides a perfect stage for a play titled “The Marks Created by Time”. The characters in this story are left up to your imagination, with one suggestion…that they be both blemished and enriched by the experience of time.

Close-up of a rose. This is a black & white tinted pink. MY BUBBLESITE
Causal portraits of friends, Taken on Polaroid 665 neg/print film. These R the original fotos with all their scratches & blemishes included when scanned. Only digital alteration is the addition of sepia to tone the fotos. Which no doubt I would have done so had I ever got around 2 printing these negs on paper. Well, that´s another story.
These R the original photos with all their scratches & blemishes included when scanned, all done in those dark room bygone days.

I’ve found a very handy tool, part of a tool I already use all the time. Picasa 3, free for download from Google, is a handy photo editor that allows you to tune lighting, crop, turn b&w, upload to blogger.com, and now: retouch blemishes. It’s incredibly easy to get rid of that little dot or blot that mars your perfect image. I’ve found that my paintings attract dust, and so does my scanner. Now I can just use this awesome little thingy-ma-jigger to fix the stupid dust! WHOOP. Seriously, I recommend this. -K

If you had asked me two hours ago, I might have said it was impossible to enhance the damaged and rust-blemished exterior of a piece of machinery, by blending it with something so graceful as a spring blossom. LavenderMoon~

I wrote this when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. When they had just abducted Danielle van damme and Samantha Runnion. This is for them, for their families.
No matter what we have on on the outside or how clean or kempt we are… we will always be blemished.. maybe not in the sight, but underneath, darkness will always seem to seep. Perfection will always fleet away just out of grasp. Thank God for the Blood of our Savior that we have a glimmer of Hope in such a wretched world… / Canon 40Dslr
