Taken from the Ridge walk (particularly Scald Law) at the Pentlands, this 16:9 photo captures Black Hill and Loganlea Resevoir from up high. The Pentland Hills are a range of hills to the south-west of Edinburgh, Scotland. The range is around 20 miles in length, and runs south west from Edinburgh towards Biggar and the upper Clyde Valley. Loganlea offers unrivalled fishing for trout from bank and boat and is situated in the heart of the Pentland Hills only 15 minutes from Edinburgh.

This was taken in Wind Cave National Park, where they run free. Custer State Park also has a wild herd. In the state parl they hold a roundup every fall when they round up the herd and sell off a certain number to keep the herd at a manageable number. This is quite an event, people come from all over to be involved in one way or another.
