This was taken in Thailand at a tourist park where they had elephants performing tricks. I find this photo haunting because the elephant is looking right at the camera. I have very mixed feelings about what the animal might be thinking.

wandering..
by ingeNorthern Ladakh,India, close to Pakistan border, we needed a permit to visit this tribe (Drok-pa) and stayed 7 days with them, that time we travelled with our kids and yes it was a wonderfull experience..it truly was the basic of basic and in the end we where covered in fleas, the diet was mainly cabbage so we farted all day long so we had a lot of fun!

I wanted to captured the speed with which time eludes us. I found my watch particularly suited for that. Except for some retouching, no Photoshop was used. This was captured in one shot with 3 swift bursts of the flash. A wallpaper based on the image is available.

self portrait.. awareness of self. took this a day I was praying and reaching out to my own self on how “would I make it through the month”.. some time ago back. I dont mean to be negative. this one actually is a positive one for me. cause I did make it through:) my area where we live has been hit terrribly so , one of the worst hit areas in the nation.. with foreclosures at 11 percent, unemployment at 9 percent. / I wont go through details.. but it is hard.. hard hard. there were days on end when I would eat “cup a soup”.. and water.. for lightheartednes click this somebodys watching me Sony DSC p200 point and shoot / I 20/s / Iso 200

I recently came across my dads old watch from the 60’s, which to my surprise, was still ticking unlike my own previous watches so I decided to try my hand at something more graphical in nature. I should thank a wonderful artist on here, Steve Leadbeater whose work I love and was the impetus for me to do something a little different Any feedback would be greatly appeciated, good or bad.
