(having only been to the US thrice i still find steam rising from the vents in the street most evocative, the locals probably find it annoying)

Acrylic on Canvas – 16” x 12” / Original is now SOLD Awwww. Poor kitty! Waking up in the middle of the night because of a nightmare can be a frightening experience…. especially when you’re alone! Sometimes all you can do is bravely seek the comfort of others! I have been working on this piece for the last few days and added the finishing touches this morning after I logged on to the Bubble and read dearest Fa’s AKA frozenfa recent journal entry. I am currently in the process of designing a CD cover for a music compilation of artists who perform at the Famous Blue Raincoat and this was put together from an experiment I performed on some out of date 35mm film in my Holga..Well the film results were rather odd, but I kinda liked how it turned out… Hope you enjoy it =D

Did this pencil drawing about.. umm.. 8yrs ago? bought the doll about.. umm.. more than 12yrs ago i think.. hehe.. n_n” i just saw this 1 doll.. alone on the shelf.. there’s no one like him.. just him alone.. sitting at the top shelf.. seemingly unwanted.. he wore a cute red overall with a blue shirt and red bow tie.. his hair is so soft.. and what captures me most is the tear drop on his face.. he was unique to me back then, cos never have i seen dolls looking so sad. it’s always the preppy cute girly doll doll.. so i fell in love with him.. and tried on draw him a few times.. i think this piece was my 3rd try.. =) ps: i didn’t mean to make his face seem flat.. but his eyes and nose is really just printed on instead of the usual eyeball in doll thingy..? n_n” Vector and Raster Prints: /

The laundry basket has been Kane’s toy of choice of late. If it’s not his own little car or pirate ship then it’s his own little bed. He sets it up with a cushion and blanket and squeezes in there with his knees up near his chest and pretends to go to sleep. Just the cutest most wonderful moments!! .
