  • Model – the lovely Lauren Vickers. / This girl is seriously one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. And for a sydney mainstream model that’s just plain unheard of ; ) MUA/Hair – Becca + Jacxx @ Prophecy Makeup A total fluke shot, we were walking back from the location and we passed through Waymouth Street in the city where they were doing construction on the street. The guys were already gobsmacked, so I simply asked and they were more than happy to oblige. / It was funny though, they all pulled out their phones and started taking photos of us, because they said their mates would never believe them otherwise. / Thanks boys, you guys rule. by Andy Mueller IPA

    US$4.70–US$125.40

This shot was taken during the “lows” when no military aircraft were on the Navy-Dare Bombing range to complete their bombing runs. I love the way this shot turned out, especially the reflection and the lili’s shadow cast onto the lilipad just to the right. The water in these drainage culverts literally is this black, the private security firm called Blackwater, trains right near this range, hence their name I suppose.

    by NautilusBlue

    US$4.70–US$125.40

A Strangler Fig on The Scenic Rim of Queensland’s Gold Coast The Strangler Fig is a tall canopy, widely buttressed tree which grows to 45m in height. The top of this tree spreads like an umbrella. It features light coloured bark. In the rainforest the strangler fig germinates only in the branches of a host tree from the seed deposited by birds. Many roots are sent down and they gradually envelope and strangle the host tree leaving the fig in its place. There are five species of strangler fig represented in the Park. / Leaves:Leaves are simple, large, glossy green above and paler below. Commonly betwwen 4 and 7cm in length. / Flowers: The flowers are on the inside of the fruit and are pollinated by a wasp which enters the fruit through a small hole before the fleshy part of the fruit develops. / Fruit: Fruit is large (about 3cm with a nipple on the end) decorative and tasty which means that it is relished by birds. The fig is dark purple when ripe with yellowish dots, fleshy and ovular. They are a most important food tree for birds References / Hauser, J. • Monsalvat Chapel
    by Alistair Wilson

    US$18.52–US$98.80

The old chapel at the bottom of the hill at Monsalvat in Eltham, Victoria, Australia. Montsalvat consists of a series of unique and distinctive buildings in the European style set in over 12 acres of parkland. A lot of materials came from the many beautiful buildings of Melbourne that were being demolished to make way for modernization. The addition of mud bricks, rammed earth, the local mud stone , bush timbers, and a great deal of hard labour, Justus Jörgensen’s vision took form. A stitch of 5 3 exposure HDR’s so 15 images in total, black and white conversion in Adobe Lightroom and added in some grass to make the foreground a bit more interesting. Stitched together in Adobe Photoshop CS3 My other photo of Monsalvat here Click here for my other images of Victoria
