I haven’t been out much lately as my little girl has been poorly (so sorry if i missed some of your work) however, yesterday i NEEDED to get out with my camera and luckily i didn’t have to go too far. This is the iconic Angel of the North – you can see it driving on the A1 – it is such a powerful symbol and awesome to see.

Created from a photograph, a painting, several semi-transparent layers, and some photoshop techniques. This is my first artwork that really communicates my child-like fascination with life. I’ve been driving myself nuts trying to find a song that fits this piece. Turns out the perfect song is one I listen to every day. / Field Of Innocence by Evanescence. There is such a delicate sadness to it, a longing for a return to a more innocent time. Artistic style of this piece inspired by Tim Burton Info for Sold!
