A young angel finding her wing by spreading love throughout the heavens! / Digital illustration by Elledeegee, 2008.
Alentejo, Portugal Out there, the simplicity of being.
As I wandered the early morning streets of Florida keys, I came across this single Heron and was reminded of Wordsworth’s poem, which goes: “I wandered lonely as a cloud / That floats on high o’er vales and hills, / When all at once I saw a crowd, / A host, of golden daffodils; / Beside the lake, beneath the trees, / Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.”
Light pink flower with back light and dark back ground.
This photo was captured of my daughter as we were taking some time out to ourselves.
I just love the angle and fullness of this picture it is very symmetrical in an abstract sort of way and it is a peaceful pic.

This is beautiful Los Cabos, Mexico, which we visited for the first time in 2007. We spent many hours on this secluded beach in front of the hotel property; it was absolute bliss. And we weren’t the only ones enjoying the scene either! This seabird seemed just as mesmerized by the magic.Be sure to check out the complete Beach Bliss series. +-Calmness in the Storm, Los Cabos, Mexico Don’t forget to visit my Etsy store at / http://photopia.etsy.com Follow me on Twitter for announcements at http://twitter.com/moderatefanatic

Sanctum, my first all black and white work, was double-featured on Saturday, June 20, 2009 by the All Things Black and Abstract Digital Art and Writing groups on Red Bubble. The All Things Black gallery features images with a predominantly black subject. ABSTRACT DIGITAL ART AND WRITING or ADAWG, as it’s popularly called, focuses on written prose and the art that illustrates it. It’s unusual in that it combines the two mediums for a unique and fascinating gallery. Sanctum is my first feature in each of these groups. I’m grateful and deeply honored by the acknowledgement of this digital fine art piece. Sanctum employs a black and white room made up of only 2 graphic source elements: 1) a stained glass window, and 2) a checkered floor. The floor was brought into several separate layers, each of which was twisted and distorted. The end result of that was drapes, then placed, shadowed, and reflected on the floor to create a three-dimensional room. Sanctum is my challenge entry into the Everyday Women group black-and-white challenge. Most of the great entries there are photos of women in everyday circumstances; and this piece doesn’t fit so well. But without the challenge, I would not have been inspired to create it. I am so thankful, I did!! it’s one of my personal favorites todate. Once I discovered the All Things Black group, I also entered it in their Black and White challenge. A little bit of serenity from this young lady …

This historic 1899 locomotive is on display at Tucson’s recently restored Historic Depot, as part of Southern Arizona Transportation Museum. / It has given me the opportunity to experiment with taking a variety of challenging (for me) photo subjects, using Photo-Shop and creating a tee shirt. I’ve become an insomniac working on all these bubbles! Used my Canon Digital ELPH camera for the photo.
A quite snooze / In an empty space
I’ve been looking through some of my old abstract pieces of late and thought I’d turn my hand back and try some more. I don’t want to describe what the image is to me, as I don’t want to limit it. Abstract art is organic, reflective and fluid, and free to absorb the mood and beliefs of its viewer.
