  • Chinook clouds are a unique cloud formation found mainly in southern Alberta, Canada. A chinook is also known as the “snow eater” as it brings in warm air into the region during the winter. My sky shots are 100% natural and have not been altered or enhanced.

  • solitude
    by Sam Neal

    US$3.65–US$97.28

These are the beautifull shifting sand dunes in aberdeen which unfortunatly a big hot shot business man wants to build his giant golf course on. Personaly i think it would be an absolute crime if he is given permission to spoil this beautifull dunes and beach which also has some species living there that are watched carefully. It just shows what money really can buy doesnt it, all very sad. Perhaps somone will stand up to it some where.

  • Let There Be Light
    by PatGoltz

    US$4.28–US$114.00

This photo was taken in Antelope Canyon, which is in northern Arizona, USA. Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon, carved out of sandstone by monsoon rains. The rays of the sun only enter the canyon during certain times of the year, and only in the middle of the day. Rays like these are uncommon, and are best seen on a windy day. This was such an incredible gift from God. It reminds me of the fact that I couldn’t make art at all if it were not for His gifts: the beauty of the world, light, and the passion and desire on my part. To make this image, I traveled hundreds of miles from home, to a place that I had longed to visit for years, at a time of the year when I felt I would see rays. I had gone through the entire canyon, and it seemed as if when I got to a place where there was a ray, it had already largely faded. I was disheartened, and as at the entrance when I saw a group of people, and a photographer with a tripod set up. I turned around to see what he was photographing, and this is what I saw! The sand in the air that day wrecked two camera bodies, but it was SOOO worth it! This is the photo that has attracted the most attention to my work and also my all-time favorite. It is hard to find a scene that inspires me like this one, but I hope someday my photography in general will measure up to this one photo.

  • Dehydration
    by George Grie

    US$3.71–US$98.80

The world is about to end because of global warming. Temperatures are soaring, ice is melting, glaciers are retreating, seas are rising, and we’re all going to fry. We’re all up to here with worry about it. The Royal Society says there’s no longer any room for scientific doubt about it. Britain’s Chief Scientist says it’s a bigger threat than global terrorism. / Every global warming sceptic is denounced as clinically insane. Every developed nation wags its finger at every other (well, ok then, at America) and tells it to Emit Less. Every politician and B-list celebrity now anxiously measures his or her carbon footprint. Every British schoolchild is now drilled to believe that man-made global warming is a Fact along with poverty and the existence of Belgium. It’s a wonder any of us has any incentive to get up in the morning. :) Online Galleries: / Surrealism art prints / 2d3d graphic design software / 3ds models max software

    US$5.70–US$152.00

Fishermen at the Silvrettasee (Silvretta Lake), Silvretta, Austrian Alps. / After a day-long hiking through the Silvretta mountains, I was deeply impressed by the peaceful mood and green-grey beauty of the Silvretta Lake. Ice-cold waters rushing from the glaciers of Piz Buin and its neighbours created an amazing abstract form of the lake shore.

  • Como, Colorado is a place which stands in time….it is also a favorite place of mine to shoot at. It is a place where time stands still, where the buildings still echo 1865. Long forgotten it still has a few habitants. Founded in 1859, it is a town which came about during the Pikes Peak Gold Rush. There is quite an interesting site here which shows the town during it’s heyday. I really wanted an image that represented something between the meaning of the word “memory” yet also portrayed the word “Ghost Town” at the same time. This is the end result.
